This was the deal I signed up for in December. It was never honored. They wouldn’t fix it so I had to pay 2700 dollars to pay my phones off so I could switch to another carrier.
The service is no good. It constantly fails during calls and takes 5-10 seconds to connect whenever a call is answered.
Go to any other carrier. Even prepaid with another carrier would be better.

Worst possible service I have ever received. Lane was very rude when store opened as he was the only one working and clearly didn't even want to be there. Another couple was a head of me. I was ignored. I was just wanting to pay a payment so after 10 minutes, I kindly ask if anyone else was working. I was told no, and I woukd have to wait till 10:45 when someone else arrived to help me or when he was done. The customer kindly suggested he just go ahead and take my payment. He hateful said he guessed he would log into the computer next to him and take the payment. After a several minutes he finally took my payment. I got the receipt and was on my way. Our phones service was still never available. We restarted our phones and went to our appointments that we were late for because we had waited so long in the first place. I returned to the store and ask Lane Jones when the service would be available. He looked up my number, and never said a word. I ask if there was a problem, he did not answer or speak to me. I tryed for over 15 minutes to talk to him or figure out what was wrong and he NEVER said a work to me. Eventually he got on his cell phone and went to the closed room in the back of the store. I ask the lady at the desk next to us if there was a problem, and she was secret acting like I had done something wrong. He came back after a long wait. I ask what was wrong and he still DID NOT speak to me. He did something in the computer for several more minutes and said there woukd be a refund of the funds in 4/5 business days. I said so I cant pay my bill. He said no. I really did not understand what was going on. I left un knowing what was wrong or if I would even get my $230 dollars back and with a phones we still couldn't use. I then traveled 65 miles to go to a different location of which was very helpful. He the employee had applied MY money to a complete different account that a refund wasn't allowed from. So the company is now taking care of the problem he caused. Lane Jones, should not be employeed as he has No people skills and ZERO personality or customer service skills. I have never ever been treated like he did today. He does not know how to admit he had made a mistake, explain what has happened and he was working to fix it, or except responsibility for his actions and fix them. I have never thought someone should be fired but there is absolutely NO way I would want him to work for my company or anyone else's. He should be FIRED. I have been a customer for over 20 years and will be looking for a different carrier because of him!

US Cellular is the biggest scam, my husband and I have been with them a bit over 3 years and the entire time we have our service has never been good, spotty, barely get over 2 bars everywhere, calls drop in random dead zones in the middle of Springfield! My work is in the middle of town and I had to run off wifi if I need to use my phone. And yet they charge high prices! They get you with all these promotions and the “amazing $40 unlimited plan” but then tack in extra fees on top of your bill that makes it twice as high! They also push to upsale to make more money from you with things you don’t need on your plan, we were getting tired of telling them no. I feel like all we’ve done is give money to these guys and in return we get terrible service. They told me they pride themselves on amazing coverage… bull. You’ll barely have service anywhere and wonder why you can’t afford things like you used to.

The only reason I didn’t give a give a zero is because the rest of the staff is very helpful. I must WARN you about Jeanie. I have been in the corporate store once in person while she was working and once dealt with her over the phone while she screamed at me. I don’t know who thought hiring this lady was a good idea but she should not be in customer service.

Called asked a direct question about availability was told on the phone yes we have that. Drove there to be told no we don’t have those at all.

This is the 1st time I have ever written a bad review so please don't take this lightly. I was with us cellular for years. Went to verizon for 2 and just came back to us cellular. We traded in 6 phones and got 6 new phones. They took our 6 phones and after 3 bill cycles are still not giving credit for the promotion on 3 of them. I have been into the store 3 times, and have called 5+ times still and still have not had bill corrected. But even worse, they do not have coverage in many areas around Springfield (even Battlefield). Once you find out you can't use your phone they say too bad!! They talked us into a $600+ booster but then told us that it doesn't work in a "dead zone" and now their only suggestion is to find someone to take over our phones and contract. Sorry I don't believe in cheating people the way they do.This is a nightmare but it last 3 years. If you live anywhere in the area make sure and check their maps! It doesn't even have coverage at Cherokee Jr High.UpdatedSo I ended up paying the 6 phones off since us cellular said it was my only option. So we lost the six phones we traded in and had to pay full price for the six phones we purchased. They told me they would be released within 24 hours. After 15 days they finally released all of them so we could go back to Verizon. That was the only option for us to use the phones and have service. Nightmare is over for us, but before you surrender your phones to them make sure they have coverage in your area. Areas we found that US Cellular has dead zones were Battlefield, south Springfield, Ash Grove, Willard and Walnut Grove.

My daughter and I were having trouble with our phones. CODY immediately helped us when we entered the store. He was great at asking the right questions and was able to solve our phone issues in just minutes. He went above and beyond by checking into our phone case replacements for us. I highly recommend the US Cellular on Glenstone because of employees like him. We will be going back to Cody when we are ready for new phones!

The store on Glenstone is the one you go to when you want to make changes to someones account without their permission. They don't ask for identification, your pin number, nothing... Privacy policies aren't followed there. Good Luck

Don't know anything about the US Cellular plan service yet. My phone crashed before I went and checked out US Cellular. The 5 Star is for Retail Wireless Consultant "Cody Bareford". Cody went above and beyond trying to help me solve my old phone issues. Was going to try Verizon but with the customer care Cody provided made me want to go with US Cellular. Thank you again for A+ customer service Cody!
