Caution! I never leave bad reviews but I feel like I need to warn people through my bad experience. I got an oil change there about 9 weeks ago. When I got the vehicle home, it was over 3/4 of a quart low on oil. So, I added oil to the full mark. I went back last week to have my oil changed and told the tech that they left it low on oil last time. He told me there was a range on the dipstick. I said yes, and when you have an oil change it should read full. He said, it depends on the vehicle. I said no. Every oil change should leave every vehicle right at the top of the mark - not over, not under. Rather than argue further, I ended up leaving. I went less than one mile west on Sunshine to another Valvoline on 2323 E Sunshine next to the Mister Car wash. They did a great job and I stayed in my car. They also let me know that the drain plug had not been torqued correctly at my last oil change and that it had been dripping. Before I left, I started the car to fill the oil filter and turned it back off. The tech pulled the dipstick and showed me that it was at the proper level. Peace of mind.

A friend stopped here for an oil change despite their better judgment. They watched the shop struggle through the process. When they asked the shop for a tire rotation, the shop recommended against it. The shop may have been right, but rotating these tires is also a bit of a chore, so it's a coin toss on whether I believe them. Then a new air filter surprisingly showed up on the bill after my friend had declined. When challenged, they said "we can take it out if you want."suspiciousI know I had a questionable experience there years ago. Shame on me for not recommending against this shop stronger.

The reason these guys aren't busy is because they are the worst in the world at customer service. He stood in their nonchalant eating sunflower seeds or something, and acted like he couldn't be bothered. He was extremely rude I would stay away from here

This shop possibly caused damage to my vehicle during a routine oil change. Another mechanic confirmed multiple mistakes which were made. Instead of discussing it or allowing me to speak to the owner/top manager, they have ignored me and even hung up on me on occasion. I have attempted to contact upper management or corporate with no responses. After giving them many chances to discuss with me or make the situation right, I will never return to this location, and I will spread the word to my friends and family to not visit this location in the future.

The owners live rich off of their employees. If you want to be scammed by a company go work for them or have your vehicles worked on by them.

This shop is just dangerous and lied about the job.Express Care was SUPPOSED to flush my brake lines, DIDN’T, told me the job was DONE, and then let me drive away without telling me the brakes DIDN’T WORK! Foot-on-the-floor-and-just-coasting-to-a-stop brakes not working.Short story alert: I took my Jeep to Express Care when the rear passenger brake line busted and blew out all of the brake fluid. They replaced the hose and told me the job was done. In the parking lot I noticed that my brake pedal was still going to the floor… but not being a car expert, I figured “Maybe it just needs to be worked in or something?” Nope, drove around a bit, almost wrecked, looked up the issue and found out that there was probably still air in the brakes.Took the Jeep back to the same shop, same guy, and told him that maybe not all of the brake lines were flushed out. Roger Thorp said “Oh, yeah, we flushed all the lines! Must be the master cylinder but we can’t do that here, you’ll have to take it somewhere else.” And he gave me some names and sent me on my way. Then I thought… wait, he didn’t say anything about that BEFORE. He told me the Jeep was done and let me drive away with brakes that didn’t work!?Everything seemed a bit fishy, so I watched a YouTube video about changing your own brake fluid. Like I said, I don’t know a ton about cars but it looked like a job I could do. So my son and I spent the afternoon in my driveway with a soda bottle, rubber hose, and container of new brake fluid. The first two brakes weren’t anything special, some bubbles that maybe shouldn’t have been there, but when we got to the rear passenger brake we saw some action. If they flushed the brakes nothing should come out but clear or slightly dirty brake fluid. What we got with the first four or five pedal pushes was nothing but air bubbles in the bottom of our reservoir bottle, and that’s a LOT of air that shouldn’t have been in the line, and then a bunch of cloudy gunk flushed out. We finished the last brake, cleaned up, and took the Jeep for a test drive. The brakes work perfectly now and I can stop on a dime!Today I went back to Express Care to ask for my money back. After filling Alec Henson in on everything that happened he said that they couldn’t do anything since they replaced the brake line. But flushing the brake line is an integral part of the job and that was certainly NOT completed. It’s like replacing a wheel and not screwing the lug nuts on. He said that he and Roger both worked on the brakes but couldn’t get the lines flushed and figured that the master cylinder was bad. But if that’s true then they KNEW the brakes didn’t work, didn’t say anything to me except that the job was done, and let me drive away with compromised brakes. I asked him how my son and I could figure out the job in our driveway when two experienced technicians with professional equipment couldn’t make it work in shop. He just said that these things happen and he’s sorry. I asked him if they new the brakes didn’t work in the first place why they didn’t say anything. Again, he said “These things happen and get misdiagnosed.” But no, you don’t just tell customers that the job is done and let them get on the road with a dangerous vehicle, that doesn’t happen. I asked him one last time if he wanted to make things right and he just said he was sorry. So, lesson learned, if you go to Express Care make sure the job is done and every part of the job is done. Or just don’t go to Express Care. I still can’t believe they lied about the job being done but it’s criminal that they let me drive off without warning me.Service: Brakes
