I have been using this Walgreens for over a year and the service I have been provided especially from both Jeff and Sia has been exceptional, always helpful with helping me resolve any insurance or provider issues, obtain coupon discounts and providing helpful information, I highly recommend this Walgreens pharmacy.

6 hours to attempt to fill a prescription, only to be told that they couldn’t fill it. Then proceeded to try and tell me that they were too busy to try to fill it any quicker.

I recently moved. During this process I missplaced my blood pressure medicene. I went without for several days but needed it. I called my doctor who called it in. I was first told it wouldnt be ready til the next day. I explained my situation and the young lady graciously filled it for me within 30 minutes. She saved me a trip to the er. This was the evening of the 20th of November. Im very very grateful to the young lady and want her to know hoq very grateful I am. Walgreens will always be my pharmacy. Once again Thank You!

This Walgreens pharmacy is so much more capable and on top of their stuff than the Walgreens at Campbell and Battlefield. How smooth this one is run shows how much of a ish show the battlefield and Campbell one is.

I switched to the Walgreens on Republic Rd. & Scenic after being left in the lurch by the Walgreens in Republic where I live. From experience, I've learned to begin the refill process at least a week in advance, as the Walgreens in Republic was perpetually "out of stock" with some of my prescriptions. I spoke directly to the pharmacist & he assured me they would be able to fill it for a pick up on Saturday. Saturday came, he's not there, & neither was my script. I spoke with the lady pharmacist who works on weekends & she informed me that they have not had that medication in stock since before I initially had the script called in 10 days earlier, & she could not understand why her coworker would assure me they wouldn't have any troubles filling it. They text me left & right about scripts that need filling, & have even called me on occasion. He couldn't have texted me to tell me he couldn't fill my prescription! He chose not to do so because he knew I would have called my dctr & had the script transferred elsewhere, so he chose to go home after his workweek & leave me with nothing! A Saturday, no reaching my dctr, so essentially I was simply left in the lurch until I could reach my dctr on Monday. In the past few yrs, Ive gone round & round with the Walgreens here in Republic over various things i.e. telling me there 3 pills short & that they will replace the 3 pills when they get them in, only to discover that I would have to get my dctr to call in another script for 3 pills...on occasion, having my prescriptions come up a pill short, filling prescriptions without my request etc.
It is sickening enough that I've reached a point in my life where I'm in chronic pain & solely reliant upon medication to even get into my wheelchair, & now the added misery of having to jump through hoops to orchestrate the process of refilling these prescriptions! That was the last straw! I called the Walgreens on the corner of Republic Rd & Scenic & spoke to Jeff, one of the pharmacists there. He was lovely. Very patient, understanding & compassionate. He straightened out everything within minutes. Of course, I still had to wait until Monday for my dctrs office to open in order to transfer my prescription because it is a controlled substance. So, I had all of my scrpits transferred there. It is further tco drive & a bit of an inconvenience for my sister who picks up my meds being I'm confined to a wheelchair & can not retrieve them myself. I couldn't be more thankful for the competent & compassionate response I received from Jeff, & subsequently the staff at the Walgreens on Republic Rd in Springfield. Thank you for turning what has been an arduous task
into an assured & pleasant experience.

Worst pharmacy! Can't even tell you or your Dr. They will be 'temporarily closed' when you need medicine to function for everyday! This is why I am switching to a local pharmacy that actually knows my name when I pull up. I might have to pay more, but worth it!

I had prenatals prescribed to me and Walgreens for three days straight kept telling me "they'll be in tomorrow, we don't have any in stock." Now I've called again and found out that they don't carry them and have to order them to be shipped in. They're past their shipping day and now I have to wait 4 days for them to come in, IF they get there on time. I'm severely upset. Now I have will have been a full week without prenatals by the time I hopefully get them. This has now effected me and my baby. If you guys aren't going to care enough to do your job, find somewhere else to work. Stop being lazy and ruin your own health, not mine.

If you or a loved one is a diabetic and depends on insulin to survive DO NOT TRUST this pharmacy. I’ve had multiple issues with them in the past but stayed with them out of convenience. Today was the final straw. My wife is a type 1 diabetic. I often pickup her prescriptions as it is close to my place of business. Her last prescription couldn’t be filled completely. They said we’ve made a “note” on the account and you can come back whenever to get the rest of her insulin pens. Today my daughter had her tonsils removed so I needed to pick up her pain medicine and the rest of my wife’s insulin. Problem 1; they “can’t make notes on accounts” and they had no idea what I was talking about for the remainder of my wife’s insulin. We go back and forth for 30 minutes before they decide to check the fridge and find my wife’s remaining insulin on a hand written note. The fact it took 3 people 30 minutes to find this is scary considering it’s a life saving drug and they apparently don’t keep inventory or a log of medicine owed to people. Back to my daughter, her pain medicine couldn’t be filled because of her “age”. She is 6 years old. At the time of this my daughter is in the car in pain ready to head home. I pay in cash to hurry the process as the doctor had told us to give her the medicine “as soon as you get it”. After calling insurance I was informed that they never had a prescription in her name attempt to be filled and they would never have objected to it because of her age. I called to speak to a manager who was unsympathetic and offered no help. I will no longer trust this pharmacy and advise others to do the same.

Picked up Christmas cards I had printed, but they put them in a regular picture envelope all shoved in instead of a box with envelopes...the cards are all curved and not flat like the cards I purchased in the past..I asked if that was normal for them not to be flat ...they said yes..but I know if the job had been done correctly and they'd been put in a photo box they'd be presentable. Waste of money and no offer to reprint them after I stated they had never been curved before... time to hire a new photo person.
