We arrived a little after 11:00 a.m. this morning to have breakfast, as the online menu read that breakfast is offered from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 pm. When we arrived at the Market Grill, we were told that breakfast ended at 11:00. Very disappointed, we started looking around for something else. Soon, Andrew called to us and said they would go ahead and cook us breakfast. Wow! We were so happy. We really appreciate the excellent customer service offered by Andrew and his staff. Randi Powell

Christmas Eve and we missed our grocery pickup slot. They close it off at 8p & we arrived at 8:10. However Carson stepped in & came to our rescue at customer service, with a big smile & made sure we received our groceries. Really, every employee there quite friendly on a Christmas Eve night.

A step down from Kroger but a step up from Reasor's. I got a few items I can't find at home. Their prices are higher than Kroger or Harp's.

New Hy-Vee on East Sunshine, in Springfield, MO. This is the newest Hy-Vee in Springfield. The UPSIDE: It is well laid out and has much to offer in the way of a variety of products and brands. They carry a nice variety of food items that are harder to find elsewhere. Nice bakery and the food court looks inviting. The DOWNSIDE: Generally the prices were high compared to other grocery stores on East Sunshine Street. I would venture to say 5-15%+ higher. There are some specials that seem to match or slightly better the local norm. I thought the flyer that arrived in the mail for the new store was deceptive. One side had inviting images of groceries and the other seemed to be more general information with a large coupon offering $10 off if your total purchases exceeded $30. Nice, except it wasn't. There was a small disclaimer, too small for the average person to read without a magnifying glass. I estimate it was in 4-point type in a light font. It was refused at the checkout with the checkout lady saying it was only for shoes. Will we go there again? Probably but only as a last resort, or if we are looking for something that is hard to find elsewhere and we are willing to pay a premium.

I've always loved Hy-Vee for their friendly service and innovative ideas. However Isles Online can take just as much time shopping in store. In my experience the crews struggle to hustle in times of high demand. I will often sit without moving for 30 minutes. There are moments no one is being loaded. It could be the system or the workers...I cannot tell. The service is still worth using if you dont want to shop. If you want to avoid sitting in your car and waiting I would choose a late pick up time.

I love Hy-vee stores. I wish we had them where I live. The closest hy-vee to us is about 6 hours away. All we have for stores are walmart and kroger. And boy do they suck.

This is a great grocery store that is definitely a cut above the competition. Conveniently located off of Kansas Expressway and Battlefield, Hy-Vee is a good place to drop by to pick up dinner or groceries for the week. The hours are good since they're open from 6am to 11pm, the place is clean and professionally run, and they have their own gas station, market grille, and Starbucks. I definitely recommend this place as a superior alternative to picking up food at Walmart to anyone living or working nearby.

Gail Maize, associates, and security here are mediocre investigators at best. At worst?? they are lousy stalkers.

I've been wanting an hour and 15 minutes for my pickup order... I understand that things don't always run smoothly but this is ridiculous

Do not recommend HyVee's pharmacy as they do not seem to stock whatever drug your doctor prescribed. Unless that is, if you can wait 3-4 days for them to order and get it. If your drug is in stock, plan on waiting 5 or more hours for your order to be filled. Then there's the drive up service. Don't bother. Go inside. At least there's a restroom. Too bad this is the cheapest pharmacy in town. Otherwise I'd never go back.

I guess I forget to check in at Hy-Vee because we come in here often. Back in the old days like 8 months ago we used to go to Springfield to see a movie at the Alamo a few times a month (the best theater in many miles but thats another review) and then we would got to Hy-Vee for groceries. Hy-Vee is in a whole different class than our grocery stores, not a Whole Foods but most of the positive qualities and some of the negatives too. Yes there are a lot of people walking the Islas being pretentious and turning up their noses and people they consider beneath them or because they don't wear the right fashions or are buying the wrong kind of free range tuna. Thats the Whole Foods experience that we don't miss and we find amusing at Hy-Vee. But most people are just there to get groceries. Now the good stuff Service is always great, they have baggesr! They are not very good and they are not trained in how to bag properly but hey they got em! Hint, cans do not go on top of bananas, gallons of milk do not go on top of bread etc. The selection is great, they have a great section of the new age, gluten free, free range stuff and we like a lot of it. They have pharmacy items and brands you can't get in Joplin. They carry more flavors and versions of food items that I can find anywhere we have lived in the US but are unavailable in Joplin because of the Walmart monopoly. They excel at the meat counter, deli, bakery, and cheeses from around the world. Sadly the only areas we are consistently disappointed in is the produce. They have lots of choices and a large selection of the supposed natural stuff but the produce and fruits are over priced, often in bad shape and of low quality yet at a higher price than anyone else. We tend to buy our produce in Joplin, at Sam's or Walmart Express and the farmers market. But for anything else, Hy-Vee has more choices, better quality and lots of natural, health-focused and free range foods. Its worth the drive.

A big shout out to all the employees and management of the Springfield Hy Vee. Thanks giving dinner pick up lines were a nightmare. The rain did not help. Long car lines wrapped around the building and out to Battlefield. Employees were hustling and exhausted and were keeping up the holiday cheer. Had to change my time from 6 pm Wednesday to 6 am Thanksgiving morning. I was first in line as they got set up this morning and the gentleman who assisted was professional but exhausted. Wanted to let everyone who worked the pick up they did great with the changes in procedure and the outlandish order numbers. Hopefully they will not have to be doing this next year. JOB WELL DONE!!

First time to this store. We're from Oregon and stopped in to pick up food for our airbnb. I really liked it. They have a great organic and gluten free selection for every food category. They sell organic fruits and vegetables, but they're much more expensive than what I'm used to paying. The selection of beer, wine, and alcohol was in a massive room! Impressive! I loved finding items I can't get in Oregon and have never seen before.
