“The store is great. Always full shelves. The gas station on the other hand is AWFUL!!! My husband and I both drive for a living and this is the cheapest gas in town, so we are there every day. However it’s almost not worth the 30+ min wait to get to a pump or the a$$ hole drivers you have to deal with while sitting in line. The parking lot is more dangerous then the roads at this point. And people are NOT patient with the others trying to get gas. The gas attendants are lazy except for one man who is very helpful in keeping the lines moving. You sure can tell when he isn’t there because traffic is moving in and out and both directions and the horns never stop….”

“Great in prices… which is why this place is packed… but they suck when it comes to how fast their pumps distribute gas… with all this traffic… Sams could get their pumps to fill up quicker… so there’s not a huge grid lock in the parking lot… big truck stops fuel pumps fast… just can’t figure out why sams don’t do the same”

“Robbie in the tire and battery dept is the best ever. I had an emergency with my tire blowing out in these extreme winter temperatures and he managed to squeeze me in while they weren’t accepting walk in appointments! “Little long, but bear with me! Dean in the tire shop is amazing. Driving into Springfield about 6:15 from nixa I picked up what I discovered to be a huge bolt in my tire (construction at cc and 160). I was able to make it to drop my wife and son off at his basketball game and called SAMS. They said bring it by but they didn’t think they could get me in. They were the only tire shop open and close. I got there about 6:30. Dean looked at me and said I am so sorry but we are a full week out and close in 30 min. I told him my story and said my car is outside leaking. He took a deep breath and said “let me see what I can do”. He looked at it with me and said “I think I can patch it, hold on” he tried for about 15min and didn’t hole is too big unfortunately. Luckily they had 2 tires in stock and he stayed late and replaced my tires for me. I am SO thankful there are employees willing to go above and beyond. You don’t see that often today. What Dean didn’t know was my wife needed that car very bad tomorrow. Her father is very sick and in cox hospital and she is making constant trips to the hospital. We are having a rough holiday season. This act of kindness will not be forgotten. If you seeDean, give him a smile and be kind. He could have said “sorry you are out of luck there is nothing I can do”, but he didn’t. He stepped up, and his act of kindness and willingness to go out of his way for the sake of others should be commended. Excellent work Dean! I hope you are recognized.”
