Four self check out lanes open, but got forced into long line at the checker because I had over 15 items in my cart. I watched the self check out lady do NOTHING the whole time I waited in the checkout lane. As you can see in my photo they were not busy.

I was at the location on St Charles Rock Rd yesterday. I went to a cashier that was standing in the check out lane as if she was checking out customers. She refused to check me out and stated I had to use the self checkout due to I did not have 15 items. She then went to bullshit with another employee that was working the self checkout area. I did not see a sign that states you must have 15 items to go to the cashier checkout lane. There is a sign at self checkout that it is 15 items or less. This is ridiculous. I bring my own bags and check myself out. I do not get paid for this so why would I not have an option to use a cashier when available! I will not patron this location. I will go to the St Charles location or somewhere else in the future. At least I know I will get a decent cashier and not have to use the self checkout! This is the 4th family I am aware of that will no longer go to this store due to the same experience I had.

I typically have a pleasant experience at Ruler Foods, but this time I did not. I run in to pick up a few items and was told because I less than 15 items I had to use self checkout. I call BS on that! I don't work for Ruler Foods. Why in the hell would ANYONE shop in your store, bring items to be checked out, and then PAY YOU!! Dose that make sense? Freaking ridiculous!

I LOVE that Kroger is back DBA Ruler Foods— Its an upgrade from Save-A-Lot and not as expensive as Schnucks/Dierbergs 🤑. I ALWAYS have a wonderful experience when shopping at Ruler Foods - one of my favorite grocery stores! 🛒
