I spent a nice amount at Menards today and not once did a single employee offer assistance. I pushed a cart full of doors through multiple departments, attempted to get help at least fifteen times, and was met with avoidance at every turn. I had to rely on Menards.com on my phone to find products because no staff would engage.
The only acknowledgment came at checkout—where employees stared at my full cart, but still offered no help. The only person who assisted me was Joseph at the building desk, and I am grateful for his effort. You would think with a card full indoors they would even assist or help put them in the car ! NO but management look to make sure the cashier rang up every item!
This level of neglect is unacceptable for a company of Menards’ size. Customer service is the foundation of retail, and when loyal, paying customers are ignored while suspicion is prioritized, it speaks volumes. If Menards wishes to maintain trust and repeat business, a cultural shift in how staff engage with customers is urgently needed.

Menards is Awesome they have so many things that u need the store is always clean And the workers are always helpful and polite keep up the good work God bless

Generally I always give Menards a pretty good rating, but in my last visit I was forced to give an average rating due to poor customer service. The very pleasant and helpful employees at the service desk near the cashiers explained that I could have my damaged receipt reprinted at the return station just inside the main entrance. We'll when I approached the young lady at the return station when no one else was in line, asked if she could assist me with my damaged receipt. She seemed uninterested and pointed to the self assist kiosk machine stating I can have it done there. Needless to say I was perturbed and put off by her response. I immediately insisted that she personally escort and show me how it functions being that this was my very first time using it. Mind you the kiosk was only a few steps away. She unhappily complied and returned to her desk. She could've at least asked if I was familiar with the machine instead of pointing as if to brush me off.

Truly, I am not joking when I say that menards is one of my top reasons for living in the Midwest. At this specific one, sometimes it's a bit hard to find somebody to help you, but not unreasonably so. Also, I really appreciate that menards stays out of politics unlike home depot.

I spend anywhere from 20k to 60k on material. At this place, the one time I let the loader load my concrete, and I don't count it,it gets wrong .I tried to call and let menards know,I only received 32bag,not 42 bag. They said the load count the bags and the 📷 shows the right number. They said it must have fell off my trailer. Won't be going to menards from here on out
