Sylvester with A-One Towing was so helpful. He made a stressful auto situation feel manageable. He told me how long it would take him to arrive to my location (he was quick and punctual), he looked at my vehicle and clearly explained what he believed could be the issue, and delivered my car where I needed it to go. I would personally rather let my car sit in another snow bank on the side of the interstate before I'd use this tow company again. Also do not let the local cops pick who tows you, read reviews first, or maybe find a good ole boy with a wench on his truck, anything else is preferable.

Malachi in Columbia was very helpful and knowledgeable. He gave me good advice and insights about my car, and got it out of the snow in no time at all. I didn't end up needing a tow with his help, but he was kind enough to follow behind me on the rest of the icy street to make sure I didn't get stuck again. Truly a positive experience. AAA picked a good company!

My truck died in the turn lane an officer called for a tow for us. I explained my brother in law was helping me pay but he’s in O’fallon I was told they don’t do payment over the phone and they don’t tow until payment is made I told him I didn’t have a card on me and he gave me a dirty look but agreed to tow it. My brother in law was on his way he said I won’t drop it until payment is made and I will only wait 10 minutes. Once my brother in law got here he went to pay and the tire got ended up calling and doing the card over the phone?he wasn’t very friendly at Al and seemed to be easily aggravated with me. I’ve had cars towers before and took payment after they got to my house. I don’t know that I would use A-1 towing again.

Came to tow a truck for me would not tow because it had a damaged front end and I did not have the right paperwork stupidest thing I ever heard of called a different company and they came pick it up no problem.

Driver we got was ignorant. We pay for road side assistance and they won’t tow a car because I lost the keys. Said it’s not possible to tow a car without keys, the title is in hand. It’s 130 in the morning. I’ve been paying for road side assistance for almost 10 years and have had numerous rows for cars in various situations and we’ve certainly dragged cars up the ramp with A-one. Regardless the car is manual and the driver says it’s still not possible. I feel as a tow truck driver you don’t need to be a mechanic to know that you can put a manual car in neutral with out the key. You can also do this in most any automatic car via the shift lock or neutral lock out. It’s screams laziness as a reason not to show up because it’s late at night. Thanks for nothing!

Jordan came to our rescue and rigged the battery with a lock washer to get it going to repair shop. Patient knowledgeable tech that was very nice. Good dude. Faster than quoted response time too.
