“Timothy was pleasant and thorough with his diagnosis of the problem with my furnace, however I still have no heat due to what Timothy wrote in his report. The fact that I am a new homeowner with this property, him telling them that the furnace was dirty and maintenance on the furnace is part of the issue.
I told him that I had nothing to do with the maintenance of the furnace due do the fact that I just purchased the house was not put in the report. Now it seems that my home warranty plan that I purchased at closing is not going to pay for the repairs based on Timothy's findings. So at this point I am still without heat in my home. Timothy should have disclosed the conversation that he and I had regarding the fact that the maintenance had nothing to do with me, the new homeowner. I had already disclosed with Choice Home Warranty that I was the new owner and they had to honor that, and any repairs for the furnace doesn't fall on me. The issue was already in the home before I purchased it and it passed inspection.”
