I’ve lived here for about six months now. It’s not terrible, but it’s definitely lacking in several important areas.
One of the biggest issues is maintenance. Requests often take weeks or months to be addressed, even after multiple follow-ups with the front office. On a few occasions, maintenance tickets were marked as completed without the issue actually being fixed. I understand that my unit is older and will naturally need more upkeep, but many of the repairs feel like temporary “band-aid” solutions rather than proper long-term fixes. Communication from the front office is also very limited, they do not call or update you to let you know when they plan to address a request.
Another frustration is how difficult it is to get in touch with management after move-in. During the tour, the staff was extremely attentive and responsive, but once I moved in, communication dropped off significantly. There have been times when I’ve called multiple times in a row with no answer. It’s very frustrating when you’re dealing with time-sensitive issues. Additionally, there appears to be no security measures in place, no security cameras or visible security presence, which is concerning.
On the positive side, parking is plentiful, which is a huge plus. The location is also very convenient, especially with easy access to the highway. Touring and moving in were both very easy and smooth processes.
Overall, the complex has potential due to its location and convenience, but management responsiveness, communication, maintenance quality, and security are major areas that need improvement.

I do not recommend living here. I’ve had nothing but bad experience since I moved in. My dryer wasn’t working properly when I first moved in. I put in about 5 request to maintenance because it was taking forever for my clothes to dry and then by the 5th request they finally fixed it. My air conditioner was out for a whole week during the hot summer and they were no help with trying to accommodate me. My daughter was 9 months at the time and I let them know that I needed it fixed right away which I feel they took their precious time on. Every time I call the office the girl Bri answers, she is no help and always has smart snarky remarks to say. She always trying to give an answer as if she is the manager giving the final decision. I’m at the point where I have to ask to speak with someone else when she answers the phone because she always trying get smart when I have a concern or question. As long as she is working in that office I definitely will not be resigning my lease.

Don’t recommend moving here and avoid at all costs if you can. Takes ages to have them address concerns, they gaslight you about those concerns not “being a big deal,” and then those concerns aren’t addressed in a timely fashion, if at all.

Having been here for about four months, I tried being patient but between water damage being sloppily repaired just to cause more damage a week later and mold not being taken as a genuine concern, I just can’t not say how displeased I am with these apartments. Pick any other place do NOT give your money to these people.

Updating my rating from 5/5 because new ownership took over & the place feels like it is being managed by people who aspire to chase out the good tenants & turn it into section 8 housing.
Filter by newest reviews & compare them to a year prior. That’s all you need to know.

These people made me reject other applications hopping it was going to work out. They are so unprofessional, it is like they don’t know what they’re doing. All the processes was so stressful and every time that I call about my application status, they will say that somebody will call me back, which won’t happen. Today, I had to call them again just to hear that my application was denied for no valid reasons. If you don’t want to waist your time and your money don’t go there

Unfortunately, I didn’t read all of the reviews and I wish I had. Scheduled a tour. When I arrived for my scheduled tour, I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff. However, the tour was nice. Applied the same day. It’s been almost a week with no word back. Bree said it would be 1-2 business days. The after hours line picked up both times around 4pm when we I was looking for answers after that time frame. The fee was over $200, hence, this is a serious problem. I hope this isn’t how the company does business, where you take fees with no intent to do business. I’d very much like a refund at this juncture.

I had a terrible experience with Metro on 5th. After touring on July 30th, I was told to wait before applying and that I’d get a call back, but I never did. I had to call multiple times with no answer, yet when my boyfriend called, the office answered immediately. I finally applied and paid $217, was approved with conditions, but then was told I needed two years of tax returns even though my bank statements showed I make well over the income requirement. I sent alternative proof of income but never received proper follow-up, only to be denied after already being approved. The communication was unprofessional, misleading, and left me feeling discriminated against. Complete waste of time and money.

Took $400 for an application fee after having already sold the apartment! Staff were deceitful and unhelpful, the excuse given was “We are under new management”. DO NOT RENT HERE

Decent. It's a nice area, people are nice, the space is nice. However there are some issues. Some repairs can take months for them to actually do, and it's no guarantee that it's done right. Our shower was cracking and we were told not to use it until they fixed it. 3 months later they came to fix it, and 2 days later it was cracking again. And they didn't even finish there's still bare wood poking through my shower. But I can't wait another 3 months to shower or use someone else's. Rent is a bit high, they don't really prep the parking lots for winter weather, and parking is very limited. Otherwise pretty good.

Positive reviews are obviously fake, if you want the real reviews from real residents, go to yelp. This place is the worst in St.charles but somehow one of the most expensive. Look at the yelp reviews. Not these fake ones.
