We've been taking our pet dog here for his regular nail trimming, and we absolutely love Ms. Kenzie! She is so kind, gentle, and caring. We know our dog (who doesn't like getting his nails trimmed) is always well cared for at every visit.

This afternoon, I went into this Petco location to pick up some pet supplies and unfortunately witnessed something deeply disturbing that I feel compelled to share. While I was there, I saw a young African American woman grooming a white Samoyed. Through the glass, it was clear she was upset, and I was horrified by the way she was treating the dog. She was yelling at it and aggressively pulling through its fur, causing the dog to yelp in pain. Other bystanders were of witness to this event as well. It was a heartbreaking scene, and I couldn’t help but feel deeply sorry for the dog’s owner, who was clearly unaware of the distress their pet was enduring.
I tried to voice my concern to the manager, but my efforts were met with indifference. The manager simply looked at me, said “yeah, I’m the manager,” and walked away without any acknowledgment of the situation or any intention to address it. This response made me feel that my concern, and the welfare of the animal, were of no importance.
It’s deeply troubling to witness such unprofessional and unkind behavior in a place that should be focused on providing comfort and care to pets. I personally would never bring a pet to this location again if you value your animal’s well-being during grooming services.
I hope the dog that was being groomed today is okay, but unfortunately, I no longer feel I can continue supporting this business after the abuse I witnessed. Please, always take the time to ensure your pets are treated with the kindness and respect they deserve.

Store was dirty and had an odor.
Update: I have since came back into the store. There was no smell to the store. I didn't get the 50% off that the sign said was Christmas clearance but other than that the experience was good.

Today my 10.month old Bichon was groomed there and looks shaven..horrible cut! Cannot tell she is a Bichon! I am sick over this!
She is not fluffy at all. This is a disgrace! Patricia Viamontes and Larry Drone...owner of Pippin.
Thank you for your response..but honestly, this was not a professional groomer. She should have known that with freezing weather why would we want our Bichon shaven to the skin? I wish I could show photos...because this poor dog looks terrible and she was beautiful before we dropped her off. Why would she be shaven when Larry told her medium length? There is no length anywhere on this dog! I want the manager to see the results of this...please. and we deserve an explanation why our beautiful dog is ruined. Telling Larry it will grow back..an insult.
It is the holidays also..and our poor dog looks terrible. Please give us an explanation. She is very good when being groomed so that is not an excuse. You need to see before and after photos so you can understand our heartbreak. Pat and Larry Drone...owners of Pippin

Took my dog for grooming... Simple cut nothing fancy... she looks completely uneven... tufts of long hair everywhere... should have used a professional groomer... never again...

Decent service but severe Staffing issues, every time I've gone in there in like the last year there's only one or two people working and one of them is usually on some kind of weird extended break. Christina is awesome though, does everything with a smile and you can tell she genuinely loves her field. Look forward to seeing her again and so does my doggie!

No help to found at fish section ever. Or really any reptile for that matter. Always have to go up front and ask where the bell is when they should be already there. Disappointing service . Won’t ever go to that lazy shit again lol
