I came in to ask about an elevated bill after incorrectly being advised to add a third line. I was met at the door by John Keys. He was extremely passive aggressive and mean. First thing he did was look at me and say "let me guess, you broke your phone and need a new one today". I teach nonverbal communication for the University of Texas System, so I know when someone is being inappropriate. He made me feel small and stupid. Told me his phone bills are over $700 and he has like 20 lines he splits between his family and I should learn that phones are expensive. Then when I told him I'm out about $88 dollars over this mistake already, and it would've been better for me to just pay off the lost device rather than the advisement to add a 3rd line, he told me that he doesn't want me to cancel because he's a shareholder, but I'm free to leave if getting my bill down to $150 wasn't sufficient. Then, get this, he said good for you for being good at math, I'm the only Asian who failed algebra. None of this is relevant.
So I asked if I could talk with someone else, to which he will ran me in circles for about 10 more minutes. Finally, he said I'll put you in the cue and get you to someone who can connect you to the loyalty line. She was extremely kind and helpful and not at all passive aggressive.

I traded in an IPhone 13 Pro Max in perfect condition, when I mailed it in, it was back in its original box I had kept it in a gun safe.
The iPhone was kept in an otter box and AT & T screen protector its entire life.
The people at AT&T that received the trade in tried to say that the phone screen didn't work and that it had burn marks all over it. But there is no way that is possible when I was still using that phone daily and when I traded in for a new phone, the guy helping me said the phone looked brand new when we took the case and screen protector off.
I used the OLD phone to transfer all of my stuff before I mailed it in!!
So instead of getting the credit for the trade in, I just had to pay over $800 to keep my phone plan active.
Needless to say we will be leaving ATT

worker pushed my mother into switching her plan, the person didnt do the math correctly and told my mom wrong. So we switched to plan that didnt help at all and caused more problems and we cant switch back to our old one now. Please do NOT make switches or anything until you talk to your insurance company or physically check the workers math. The worker basically lied and now we have to pay extra. Thought she was trying to help but in reality it seems she wanted to profit. She did the work and was very enthusiastic, but thats all. love ur cats name though.

The store was friendly and clean. I was put on a waiting list as soon as I walked in, the store was very busy. (Sunday afternoon) My associate, Parker, was so helpful and made the process of switching and establishing service easy and painless. He answered all my questions and explained everything well. I am happy I switched carriers!

I went toAT&T as I was having issues with my phone. I got Lou who was fantastic. My phone had a lot of problems and he was so patient, professional, calm, and able to get my phone working. I can’t say enough wonderful things about my very positive interaction with Lou and this AT&T.

Store is great. Bad experience with John. I was sitting there doing a trade in and he comes out asking the representative working with me if this is the best use of his time. As a customer I feel disrespected. John needs to stop trying to get on to other employees who are already doing their job. He didn’t offer any help, all he did was sour my previously great experience.

Management is incredibly toxic and disrespectful to both employees and customers. You work at AT&T. Stay humble bud, and treat customers with respect. Otherwise, it's the only AT&T store that I trust in St. Jo. Management's attitude and the childish entitlement has gotta go though.
