Went in for a alignment they told my I had a nale in my tire so I went ahead and got a new one even though it wasn’t leaking and then when it’s done they told me they couldn’t Align anything bc a bunch of stuff I just got done replacing I have put well over 1000$ worth of parts on so now I’m driving a car until April 4th that ain’t aligned so I can just burn the tread off of brand new tires i didn’t have no problem buying a tire but if you ain’t going to align it don’t put a new tire on when I could have just patched or plugged the other one and it would have gotten by just fine

Leaving a 58 year old woman in freezing sub 20 degree weather after you were UNABLE to fix a flat tire and dead battery because you couldn't be bothered to keep your lobby open for an extra 30 minutes till someone could come pick her up. Not only will I not be coming back to the store, but I'll be sure to let every customer I have know exactly what kind of business is being run here. Absolutely unbelievable behavior from a room full of men.

Since Oct of 2024 I have bought 2tires from discount tire in st joseph mo. At the price of 153 dollars and some change returned to store in December was told needed to replace2 front tires had a flat that couldn't be repaired so Nicholas sold me 1 tire for $125. Ouy the door with tax. And assured me that when I came back that I was guaranteed the same price for the second tire. So I came back and Nicholas was not at the shop another CSR told me that the tire would be much higher and if I wanted it I would have to pay almost $65.00 more for the tire. This came out to $195,64. I explained to him I was assured and guaranteed that the price would be $125.00 they said if I wanted the tire I needed to pay this new price. At this time I knew I needed matching tires and due to poor weather it had to be done. This is very unprofessional of discount tire to promise something to a retired veteran and go back on there guarante. I am extremely upset and would not recommend using there services or them honorithere promises.
This location is not honorable or helps veterans or dissabled persons. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THRY ARE NOT ACCCOUNTAVLE OR HONORABLE WHATS SO EVER.

I give this location no stars as of right know. I understand I was a walk in but I have never had to wait as long as I am today. I arrived at 8 am received text that car would be in a bay between 10:10-10:30. 10:30 comes nothing. Go ask I’m told there are still 4 ahead of me. I understand appointments no problem. But the last walk in that came in at the same time we did left at 10:15 and she got a full set as well. 11:00 am and I’m still sitting. Didn’t used to be this way at this location no matter what time of the year. Service here has drastically gone down hill since the management has changed.

We bought four new tires and drove home with vibration we didn't have before. They put 39 pounds of pressure in the right tires and 30 pounds of pressure in the tires on the left side of the car. They also parked my car with the driver's side window down. For over a grand we shouldn't have to check tire pressure or ask for air.

I’d give no stars if it were an option! I used to be pleased with this location but not anymore! 2 weeks ago I had a rotation and balance done and was supposed to get a tire fixed. 2 weeks later I still have a tire going down so I had taken my vehicle in again to have a tire fixed. When I dropped my vehicle off I had mentioned it was a slow leak and it may be corrosion around the bead. I was notified my truck was finished and when I went to pick it up I was informed that they couldn’t fix it. Not because of the tire not being fixable but because of corrosion on the wheel. The tech informed me that they couldn’t clean the corrosion because it could affect the integrity of the wheel!!!! I didn’t tell him that I used to do tire repair for a living for years and I knew he was blowing smoke up my rear end. Needless to say I’ve always been satisfied with their service until last few months. I’ve bought a lot of tires through them for my wife and I our kids and grandkids. Unfortunately they have seen the last dollar I’ll ever spend in their business and to top it off they didn’t even air my tire up. That’s fine I’ll take it to a real tire shop and as for discount tire educate your people!!

I came into discount tires and the quality of their service at this one is below par. If there was minus Stars it would be in there
I came in to have a tire fixed and rotated my tires and had them rebalanced. I had two tires that was chasing weights. Two other tires that didn't have any weights on them that had weights on them before
I talked to the manager. They're fixing the problem but he said it's what I've got to work with. As far as the crew, they're really lazy. They have music cranked up. They're sitting down putting lug nuts on. Not a very good tire store. Probably one of the worst discount tire stores that I've ever been to and I do travel quite a bit

This is my go to place for tire needs. I called on a weekend and spoke with Timothy, who was extremely rude. He told me they had no openings for that day but when I went online to book an appointment, they had an entire afternoon open. This was after being spoken to rudely from him on the phone then he proceeded to hang up on me. I went to my appointment, and the issue still wasn't fixed. Brought it back on Monday and dealt with Kaleb, who was an absolute delight as always. Kaleb fixed the problem with no issues. I always look forward to working with Kaleb.

They used to be all right, not so much anymore. Recently they put a set of tires on my grandma-type sedan which were so poorly balanced that they nearly shook the fillings out of my skull. I went back right away for a re-do of the wheel balance, and nothing improved. I went to another shop to get their opinion of DT's work, and they exposed the amateurishness of the work done at Discount Tire, showing that there was something like 5 oz of weights on one wheel. (That's too much weight.)

Came in today at 9am, for two new front tires. Initially was irritated as I sat at the front desk while there there was a "Gavin" sitting at the desk and didn't even look up or acknowledge me, then just walked out and left. I had to wait several min before I was even helped by another employee. Specifically asked how long it would take, as I would be waiting in shop, and have another apt. I was told an hour and a half which put them being complete at 1030 am. It's now 11:41am and they have just now gotten my vehicle back. It will be after noon before its complete. Had I been told an accurate time, I would have went elsewhere or found a ride.

Caleb from this location was super helpful. He was extremely knowledgeable, respectful and customer oriented. He helped me upgrade to the right tires for my Gladiator. I was referred in from the Gladiator forums and will definitely refer others after a great experience.
