Our room keys didn't work. Took them back down to the lobby and had them reactivated, but they still didn't work. The lobby worker got us in with his master key. The room smelled, and the couch cushions were ruined and in tatters. The bathroom doorway was covered in mold, and the walls were molded near the shower. 0/10 would not recommend.

We arrived around 10 to the hotel. The first room we were given was dirty. The second room we were given is dirty. The third room we were given was finally a clean room. The hotel pictures appear the hotel is newer or been remodeled, this is not the case. To make things worse, they harass you and knock on your door and tell you it's time to leave. Yes if you book through a 3rd party they penalize you and you have to pay a $100 deposit. No staff was very friendly to me. I felt like I bothered them because they made mistakes. Not a very good experience for me. I tried to call and talk to the manager but they won't answer the phone.

I have stayed here numerous times during the past 3 years. They are obviously having problems lately. Last month got a room and heat didn't work. This week, TV didn't work, no washcloths, used coffee pod in coffee maker.Both nights, the girl at the front desk could care less. Got a serious attitude about moving me to a room that had heat.

Unknown large cockroach size bugs came out of the holes in the bathroom walls. The floor was sticky with an unknown gunk. The bed was horrible. Spring mattresses shouldn't even still be in existence. Much less, touted as comfort, just because a 1 inch topper is put onto them. The front desk woman was a pleasure, however, and the only redeeming quality of the stay.

Breakfast was wholly decent! Not fancy but lacked nothing. Room nice, carpet nice. Clean. From other reviews I was skeptical, but don't believe the hype. Perfectly fine place to stay! Pool is closed till March tho.

When we checked into this hotel I had no expectation of a 5 star stay nor a want for the extra posh services. However, this hotel was booked specifically because of the indoor pool they listed on their website. It was closed, we were told for maintenance but the sign that was posted just said closed, when I quoted upon length of maintenance the desk attendant stated he didn’t know- they wouldn’t tell us how long it had been closed either. Alright, chalk it up to a loss, we were here now and it was late so oh well. The biggest issue was about to hit. After checking into the room with an additional hundred dollar charge not listed anywhere on the website, I opened my door to find that none of the beds were made. All the towels were used. Housekeeping had not touched that room. The entire experience has been a disaster. I do not recommend this hotel.

It was late so I didn't ask for service. Carpet was not vacuumed. I'm guessing it hadn't been vacced for a few stays as it was grit from one end to the other. I had to brush off my feet when getting into bed. Breakfast was at 6AM. We came down at 6:45. Food was just being put out. Eggs were warm, gravy was room temp. I paid $150 and will never use "Quality" again!!

The employees at the front desk will lie to keep your deposit, they will also say that you booked your room for four people and show up with five. They will discriminate you if you wear a tshirt from the local dispensary and keep your deposit saying that you smoked cigarettes in your room. For everyones information I dont smoke cigarettes! The breakfast is cheap and will upset your stomach, the fan in the bathroom will run all night long and half the outlets in your room will not work. There is also no screen on the windows so its extremely unsafe for children. They also advertise that they have a pool but it is out of order and should not be included in their pricing. I couldnt tell if the floors had ever been vacuumed, and the shower curtain has mud spots on it. Definitely not worth the price i paid, let alone the $100 deposit i am getting ripped off after the front desk employees accusations. The "manager" will then refuse to answer the phone or return emails regarding the return of said deposit. Very disappointed with the people who run this place. They have plenty of time to flirt with one another and pass judgement on their customers. Think twice before spending your hard earned money on this typical saint Joseph hoodrat hotel.Rooms: Filthy, dont waste your money.Safety: Definitely needs screens in the windows. Needs work on all the outlets that are not working properly.Noteworthy details: Employees are judgemental liers and discriminatory and cut throat, they'll say anything to keep your deposit.

Absolutely disgusting. Our bed had a literal poop stain on the sheets. The "new" sheets we got from the front desk also have bodily fluid stains. Overall gross. The front desk person even admitted that they had bad cleaning people.

The grounds and rooms were rundown and in disrepair. When I arrived and asked to check in about an hour early, 1:45p instead of 3:00p, the staff member I spoke with was unwilling to work with us and a bit rude. When I was finally able to check in later, the card I gave him was run incorrectly and I was charged $100 for a deposit. Not a hold for the funds, they took an additional $100 from my account. When I noticed the error days later I was informed that’s their policy (nothing was said to me about that when checking in) and that they will issue a refund in 10 days. I’ve never encountered a hotel stay where money was physically removed from my account, and I think that in addition to that being a ridiculous policy, it should have certainly been mentioned to me when I was checking in.

Mildew in our room, smelled musty. Dirty windows. Floor was damp all over. Canned breakfast in the morning. Child size cups for lukewarm coffee. Staff polite but unenthusiastic. As i sat in the lobby i heard someone else comment that their room was musty smelling and damp. I won't be back.Rooms: Mildew on bathroom walls. Three walls have mildew.Food & drinks: Don't bother. Cracker Barrel is right next door.

The room was dirty. My grandkids' feet were black after an hour of running around. There were rust stains on the sheets for the spare bed. The overall room had a slight musty smell. Just enough to bother you. We also had to pay a $100 deposit that I wasn't expecting, and I have to wait 5-7 days to supposedly get it back. That review is coming later.Nearby activities: It was about 5 minutes from the Chiefs training camp. That's all I know.

Stay clear of this Quality Suites. They will steal your deposit, even though you're a choice Diamond member. I stay at Choice hotels all over the Midwest for my business trips. I've stayed at this specific one, multiple times. When checking out on 7/7/23, Rm 104....I was immediately told, I wouldn't get my deposit back, because they accused me of smoking. I don't smoke, and I stay at Choice, because their hotels are clean, smoke free, and cheap. Not sure how they can determine someone is smoking, unless they can see it on camera ,or they can actually smell it inside the room. I understand their policies about smoking, but someone who stays at Choice hotels, 75% of year, should be treated better. I'll run this up the chain, and through the owner, but that being said, If Diamond members get treated, like this, how are other guests being treated. Remember folks, it's takes 7-10 days for your deposit, to get back on the card....if you don't get it back, they stole it from you, and will use their smoking policies to back their reason. The BBB complaint will be file Monday, and Choice hotels , have already been notified.

We paid a premium rate to stay in this hotel the night of Aug. 7. We attended the Chief's training camp on Aug. 8 which I am sure boosted the rate significantly. We had a 2 queen suite. The carpet was very damp as was the sofa. Sitting on the sofa made my clothing damp. My cloth purse absorbed the moisture in the room and was also damp. The carpet had not been well vacuumed and there were food crumbs on the carpet by the desk. The bathroom had significant mold. We were only provided one wash cloth for the three adults staying in the room. The door to the room was very difficult to open and close. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience.
