By far the worst customer service. We are tearing off part of our home for an addition and we cant get Optimum to come out and remove their own line to the house. We haven't been customers of Optimum for over 10 years. They tell me that they cant remove the line unless we sign up to be a customer. Really?

Today's visit was good. The phone interactions have SUCKED! They've lied to me and I hate optimum at this point
BUT! Miss Sandra, in store, was wonderful and helpful.
After 16+ years , I'm being treated like dirt. But Miss Sandra had empathy and offered suggestions that were helpful.

I was with optimum for 6 years because there was no other options in our areas for 1 GB internet. The service was spotty and had to have them come out multiple times to "fix it". They tried to charge me for fixing it and I had to call. They also tried upping prices MULTIPLE times and I had to call and threaten to cancel each time to get the price lower, but never back to what I was paying. I canceled after we got more options in our area and my bill was over 100 dollars. After I canceled they sent me another bill. I was annoyed but paid it and they said it was the last one. Then I get yet another bill for 20 dollars well after canceling which I'm guessing they try to slide in one last charge and hope you don't notice.... BEWARE!

have spoken to 3 people after I was charged an extra 135$ AFTER I removed my card from auto pay & every single one has lied to me and said I would get my money back it’s been two weeks !! Looking to change services as soon as I get my money back. Cant even see how this is legal especially because my card was supposed to be removed from being charged without my knowledge. This money was taken wrongfully. I’m going to the building to hopefully get a more honest answer & my money back. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy

Spent 2 1/2 days with their IT department with no resolution. Unless you want a password reset, they are worthless.. They reset my password 5 times to an email that I could get into. If you have a Stjoelive email, forget it. They won't support it even though it came from a company they acquired. They tried to tell me I got the email from stjoewireless. Which I have never set foot in to.. wanted to know why I needed more than one email and why I didn't have an iPhone. Then let's talk about cancelation. Trying to do something as simple as cancel service with them is worse than trying to break up with a narcissistic ex. I spent over an hour trying to cancel. I get that it's their job to try and save the account, but as a customer, I can tell you the approach sucks.. they wanted to keep beating the same dead horse. Even after I told them multiple times I no longer wanted the issue fixed, I just wanted to cancel. I have never had this much trouble trying to do two simple tasks. DO BETTER OPTIMUM By the way, please do not contact me..

St Joseph use to have Jesse James to rob you. Now they have Optimum. Switched to competitor with same service for over $100 a month less.

Rick was awesome! Extremely knowledgeable about the subject matter and was able to fix my initial problem. He also found other things that could contribute to my wifi issues and helped resolved them as well.
