The staff at this particular location are unwelcoming, unfriendly and unhelpful. I have shopped at Ulta for years at the N Skyview Avenue, Kansas City, MO location and staff there are always friendly and willing to help every customer. Based on my one experience at the St. Joseph, MO location, I will not be back to Ulta. Staff was condescending and unprofessional.

Both items out of stock. AC barely working. Half the shelves look empty but they have plenty of people standing around. How do you expect to keep all of them employed when you cannot sell items because the stock it terrible.

I recently scheduled an appointment at the salon with Brooke, and I am pleased to report that my experience was excellent. Given my previous encounters where I had concerns about excessive hair being cut, I approached this appointment with some apprehension. However, Brooke attentively listened to my preferences and executed the haircut flawlessly. Additionally, the pricing was very reasonable. I look forward to returning for future services with her.

They rarely have what I am looking for, and now they stopped carrying the bath wash I have used for years. They are higher priced than Bath & Body, so I may have to start going there. ?

Worst Ulta ever! Rude staff, and they force you to give your phone number or you cannot return anything, even with a receipt! Predatory practices.

I booked an appointment in the salon with Brooke and she was great! I am very apprehensive about getting my hair cut because I’ve had way more than I asked cut off from other places in the past and she listened and did a perfect job! The price was also great! I’ll definitely be back to see her :)

I left this store feeling bad and embarrassed. The employees at this store made me feel like the snobby lady made Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman feel. I had $200 in gift cards and plenty of cash to buy what I went in for. These people chose to judge me because I had on a leather jacket and may not have looked up to their standards. I had just gotten off work from working 16 hrs and was tired. I would have been a very good repeat customer but thanks to to the unkind employees I will never go back.

The actual store is ok. But beware do not let them talk you into a creator card even if you don’t use it you get charged a service fee.It adds up and if you don’t know you owe it because you didn’t use the card they will charge you a late fee. That adds up.So disappointed in their credit care service policy’s and handling. I will no longer shop ulta. I will go to Kansas City to dillards or macys for my Clinique make up
