Don the Dad at the Des Peres Ace saved me $1000. I had a leaky shower and got a quote. It was more than I wanted to spend so i came into the store and Don asked how he could help. I told him my situation. He assured me it shouldn't cost that much to fix, explained what was needed and provided the name of another plumber. I called the plumber. My shower was fixed right away and he only charged $300. I am grateful for Don and his willingness to patiently explain what was needed on layman's terms and share his connection.

This Ace is my go-to for all my home improvement needs. The associates there always drop what they are doing to help me and even give me hands on demos for what I need to get done. Really appreciate their help.

Very personal feel. Old school personal touch coupled with the latest product and plants. Note that this is a smaller Ace than most but the gardening area outside offers lots of choices. And free fresh made popcorn ?. Been going here for 30 years. I do miss the shop cat that used to live in this Ace.

Change in management, horrible customer service. Use to be a place I went because of the customer service. Not so much anymore. 1 person that works there belittled and talked down to my wife. Which was the final straw. I also have pulled my account and now go to Westlake Ace.
