I’mSo sick of the unfriendly workers at Anthro! I can not wait until the Frontenac location opens. It took a younger manager to teach the older manager working noon 6/28/23 how to PROPERLY take care of a paying customer! Over 75% of my closet is Anthro so be good to me! The older manager with her smug attitude and snooty demeanor rubs me the wrong way EVERY SINGLE TIME! If I didn’t know any better, I’d think she was related to Judge Judy! Just mean and nasty! Go back where you came fromSo WE can shop in peace!

If I could give this store negative stars I would. They’re stuff is cute, but pricey as anyone can see. But my main issue is their returns! I bought a mirror from them, and you’re not allowed to return furniture in store, so you have to call in to this place to schedule a return pick up. I work in logistics, and this is the most unorganized and unhelpful staff that I have ever encountered. How was I in the system for a return pickup on 10/12 with a scheduled time frame, but my “date wasn’t saved” and now they weren’t able to pick up the mirror when I’ve been waiting all day. They didn’t even call me to tell me they weren’t picking it up anymore. I had to call them! So now, I have to wait another week for this pickup and I still haven’t heard from them on a time frame. Let’s see how this goes

The sales person I spoke to on Sunday 5/02/21 at the S Loius Gareria questioned why I wanted to try on dresses. Side stepped the question as she wasn't sure she would allow me try on. Your dresses are beautiful & I enjoy wearing them. Is this your netail sales strategie?Just to let you know least inexpensive dress was $168.00. If this happens to one customer it probably happens often. Please let me know you thoughts on tjis.

Don't buy anything from this place. Shipped a dress, that I had ordered, back due to it being too small. The dress had never been worn, still had the tags on it, and was returned 5 days after receiving it. Sent the dress on Aug 12, 2020 and the store received it on Aug 13, 2020. I sent an email on Aug 30, 2020 because I had still not received my refund, despite tracking it and having a receipt stating that the store had received it the very next day after shipping. I got a response asking me to give it some time to process. As of Sept 24, 2020, I still had not received a response. I called and gave the woman the tracking number and she stated that the dress had not been received and was still in transit. This was, of course, a lie. I told her that I was looking at the tracking report at that moment and she still stated that the dress was in transit and had not been delivered. She said that I would receive an email in 3-5 days addressing my complaint. They now have the dress AND my money. I am preparing to file a legal action against them. I don't need this extra stress right before my daughter's wedding.

Unfortunate experience at this store. The store looks like any other anthro store. Anne was nice in dressing room. House wares department was a mess! The manager (who's name I can't remember), was not helpful at all. The bottom line, I had issues using a coupon. I live in a remote area, not near Anthro, so I saved the coupon for my visit to a town that had a store. I was about to spend several hundred dollars. I had my birthday coupon. The manager said that the birthday coupon expired a few months before (for 15%) and cannot be used now. I was at prior stores that said you can use it for the entire year (just save it and use the barcode). It's 15%. It's not coming out of her pocket. It's not that much, but could make a big difference for several hundred dollars. People give discounts all the time at other stores for pretty much no reason at all (especially when there is a coupon discrepancy). I put mostly everything back because 1. she was so rude about it and not helpful and 2. I was going to spend my money in another store that sells the EXACT same stuff that gives coupons (i.e. Macys, Nordstrom, Lord and Taylor). I emailed the people at Anthro and they said the manager should have honored the birthday coupon - given the entire experience - and they promptly gave me a coupon for the interaction I had with her. Just bad customer service. Will NOT be going back and telling others to stay away. Will just order online.

Anthropologie's return policy is another reason why brick and mortar retailers are failing. I received a gift and wanted to return it. It had the tags on it and I had the original receipt. They would only offer store credit because I didn't have my husband's credit card. Seriously? That is a ridiculous policy in this day and age. Now one of us has to make a separate trip back to the mall, and we hate the mall anyway. Why would anyone buy a gift here with that totally inconvenient policy? I won't shop Anthro again, online or in person. I will continue to shop smaller local stores. Sorry to be petty but again, this is just bad customer service.

I visited the store to find a last minute (night before ?) wedding outfit. They started a dressing room for me. When I arrived at the dressing room I discovered that the staff had begun pulling additional pieces for me to try on. So thoughtful!

My wife loves this place. I'm going to have to take out a mortgage on my leg next to afford this place.
