Online and in store it says “we install batteries”. Was purchasing one and they said they wouldn’t install it they were too busy even though there was no one else in the store. Wanted me to buy it go home and install it and then bring the old one back. False advertising

The worst Auto zone, Sunday November 6 about 1 30 Pm I tried to buy the battery the black gay no name badge he didn’t want serve me he call people who is lined behind me when I asked he why he said they don’t want serve me I asked the white lady working with hm to get serve he don’t later do it this was my home store I will never came back they don’t have no customers service experience the gay need to get more training .

Placed an order for same day delivery on 9/29, reached out to the store when it began to grow later in the evening and my order hadn’t updated. The woman I spoke with told me they didn’t do deliveries and gave me a number to call, whoever was on the line she gave me stated they only do commercial deliveries… Odd for the website to give me “Same Day Home delivery” as an option but everyone is saying they don’t do it. Next day, received a message on 9/30 that my order was being delayed so I decided to call the 1-800 number. I spoke with a great rep by the name of Josh, he called the store for me to check on things and they told Josh that they were packaging my order up at the moment and would have it to me within the hour. Perfect, I get off the phone with Josh and not even two minutes later am I receiving an email that my order has now been CANCELLED.
Really!?? I called back to speak with a rep again, different rep is now telling me that the store doesn’t have the battery I ordered - the same battery that they had JUST told us they were already packaging up! If I paid for same day delivery, I feel it’s quite obvious I needed the part. Why didn’t the store call back or double check before lying to Josh and I? People depend on their cars and work hard for their money! So here I am sitting and placing a new order to a different store while waiting on a refund with no proper communication from the original store regarding the order. Time is money. Money is time. This is very frustrating and poor on their end.

Horrible service! The cashier and clerk made jokes at me and purposefully confused me. The clerk was mumbling so I couldn’t understand what he was saying. So I apologized for making him repeat himself and he told me “ You need to go smoke some weed”
On my way out of the store as I was getting in my car, the cashier and clerk were in there looking at me and laughing. Which is just not ok.
Firstly, that was massively disrespectful. In the moment I played it off, but it was super rude to say to someone.
This was my first time in an autozone. I will NOT be returning to this location or any other if this is the level of service I get.

Today I had a not so good experience with this location. Employee was not very capable but nice nonetheless. She was unable to check the battery and went inside to find another technician. Her manager chose not to come out to check himself and dismissed it as an electrical problem. We left and went to the next auto zone on kingshighway and surprise they were able to test and confirm my (under warranty) battery was defective. If I could leave 0 stars I would . Waste of time. Don’t bother going to this location.

Horrible Horrible service all because me and my brother are white! Absolutely ridiculous! Stpre was busy, we ran in, grabbed 3 sockets we needed. Used the self checkout. Grabbed the receipt, walked out the door and the buzzer went off. I showed the manager the receipt, we start to walk out and 2 African American employees make us come back in, both of then stared at the receipt for 5 minutes on purpose because they new we were in a hurry, then told us each to walk out the door separately one at a time accusing us of stealing!!! So me and my brother obviously got pretty pissed at that point! We told them they r rude and the whole thing was ridiculous and that they were kust being racist!, and that we make a good living($) the work we do! Both the manager and all the other employees start trash talking both of us, and all 5 African American employees come outside as we r walking towards our work van talking trash to us etc, u get the picture. Can't type what i really want to say on here. I phrased it politely. I seriously thought they were gunna try and jump me and my brother or do something! They all started ganging up on us and it was very threatening. How can a manager of a auto parts store treat anyone this way! Absolutely ridiculous and I was pretty close to being scared for my life walking to my work van and was close to calling the police and drawing my firearm that I had in my waist if it got any worse! We did nothing wrong, paid for our parts. And we get harassed because we were the only white people in the entire store?? This world is done for! We have had this happen several times now this year at auto parts stores!
