Avalon Exchange is a thrift store known for its eclectic and diverse selection of clothing, offering styles from various decades, especially the 70s and 80s. The store features a mix of vintage, designer, and niche pieces, with the men's side often showcasing vintage Nike and unique items, while the women's side includes a variety of styles, though some items like Shein are also present. Customers appreciate the variety and the ability to find one-of-a-kind pieces that are unlikely to be seen elsewhere. The store is also a good place to sell clothes, often accepting more items than competitors like Plato’s Closet, which is appreciated by many. However, some shoppers find the prices to be on the higher side, especially for vintage T-shirts, and feel that designer items are sometimes lowballed. The shopping experience can vary; some find the staff to be friendly and helpful, while others have experienced rude behavior at checkout. Overall, Avalon Exchange is favored for its unique inventory and the ability to shop for styles from different eras, despite occasional pricing and service inconsistencies.
Obsessed. Some really fun and reasonably priced items here. I want to live in this store forever ?

The stuff there is fine, I didn’t find anything I wanted but it was clean and the prices were fair.
