I recently had the pleasure of renting a car from Avis, and I must say that my experience exceeded all expectations. The standout individual who made my experience truly exceptional was Charolette, the amazing agent who assisted me throughout the process. I have never encountered someone who embodies patience and passion for helping others as much as Charolette does.What struck me the most about Charolette was her unwavering dedication to providing top-notch customer service. She went above and beyond to ensure that every customer, including myself, received the utmost attention and assistance. It was truly heartwarming to witness her selflessness and willingness to help others, regardless of who they were. Charolette's respect for all individuals was evident in every interaction she had.The Avis location on Olive Street has an incredible vibe that sets it apart from other car rental agencies. The entire team seems to take immense pride in their work, and it shows. The positive energy and enthusiasm radiating from the staff members created a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for customers. It was clear that each team member genuinely cared about providing an outstanding experience.As someone who has spent many years in the customer service business, I can confidently say that individuals like Charolette are becoming increasingly rare. Her dedication, patience, and passion for helping others are qualities that should be celebrated and recognized. Go Elsewhere! Do NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!(the owner is money hungry) VERY Questionable business practices, ONLY Cares about Upcharge and if you trying to do Uber, she will Claim, that She knows NOTHING about it, but will rent you a little electric vehicle that has No traction in light rain, (we won't even talk about winter time, like now) and, just recently, when I was about to return the vehicle for the last time, she called to ask if she could just charge my card for a renewal, I said no, 20 minutes later it was charged anyway, she claims she didn't do it and even yelled out loud "You A Lie" to the Billing Department of Avis that stated that's the Only Way it could happen on speaker when I let her hear they're response..Now I'm left with No Money, she claims there's No new contract -for me to Uber - even though my Money has been taken for a new week,I wanted a gas vehicle, which she will rent to others (I believe, just women but , if your a man, you'll only get a Chevy Bolt which cost 25 a day and 2 hrs.. (heck, I didn't even know there was a charge cord in the truck for the home until a employee told me, (something the Owner should know and State) I Will contest this Charge and may sue, but , if I was youI'd go elsewhere to get a rental, ESPECIALLY If your trying to rent for Ubering, the owner here is ONLY Interested in keeping you renting not Customer Satisfaction as well as possibly Charging your card Again just to keep her $ numbers up..

Was told they had a vehicle, confirmed it over the phone 3 times, and when we get to the destination, the rude lady working stated they haven’t had the vehicle or similar vehicles recently.

I never rate anything, but this car rental location is the worst experience I have ever had. Waited over an hour and they only processed through about 20 cars. Line by the time I left was probably 70 people deep. This place should be shut down. None of the employees cared at all.stay away from here!!!

This location uses DISCRIMINATORY practices by refusing to rent to customers who present a credit card issued by specific credit card issuers. I reserved a full-size car, in advance through the Avis app—for pick-up at this location. I handed my credit card and driver’s license to the rental agent and as it was immediately handed back. I was informed that my Visa credit card issued by CreditOne Bank could not used for my rental. To my knowledge, this UNETHICAL practice, which is also posted on a sign at the counter, does not reflect Avis’ policy regarding credit card usage. I’ve contacted Avis (corporate) and the Bureau of Consumer Protection for additional clarification.

Prepaid for a premium SUV on Avis website many days ago.Called on the day of pickup to confirm that all is well and was told quite impatiently that they don't have any vehicles and they don't think I'll get any kind of car, let alone a premium SUV which I prepaid for several days ago. I was told they're expecting to get 5 cars, but since there are 5 people already ahead of me, I will most likely not get any vehicle at all. So then I tried to cancel the reservation as I had to find another vehicle at the last minute and the agent I chatted with insisted they'd penalize me $150 for "no-show", even though I wasn't the no-show - Avis had no vehicle to give me. I've been renting from Avis quite often recently, but I'll try my best never to rent from them if possible. Quite sad and could have been handled much better.Update on Sep 30 - As per the reply, I have emailed all the details and relevant case info. I got a reply from Avis customer service that they will refund me the "no-fee" penalty as well. Thank you, Avis.
