I called this morning asked when I could bring my vehicle in for inspection. He asked me what kind of vehicle. I told him a 2000 F250. He informed me he doesn’t inspect those? This seems pretty strange and sketchy to me but oh well?!

I brought my car in for an emergency repair. I explained the issue to the service technicians, providing detailed information about how it was functioning. I also showed them a picture I had taken of the stored codes. They assured me they would take this into account during the repair. They called me with the diagnostic and price, and got it done within a few hours. It was by far the best repair experience I've ever had – efficient, reliable, and genuine. I'll be returning my car to them for any future needs.

I can’t say enough good things about Benchmark. I’m no where near a car person but Michael explained all of this is a digestible way. My Apple CarPlay went out in my Honda Civic and their fix was a fraction of the cost that I was quoted at the dealership. I’m very happy to have found a shop like this for more than their work but also their service.

Way overpriced. They charge $150 only for checking AC Freon level! A job that doesn’t take more than 5 minutes labor. Such a ripoff.
An update after the owner replied.
I never mentioned that the compressor is not working and you never explained that you’d perform a leak check. You literally told me that you charge $150 for a Freon check and Freon refill, and ti confirm I asked again you charge $150 for only Freon check and you said yes. I said that’s too much, you said that’s what we charge. Good luck ripping off your “valuable customers”

After taking my vehicle to Plaza, Firestone, the Ford dealership, and even Sam’s Club with no real results and outrageous quotes. I finally brought it to Benchmark Auto. I wish I had come here first! They diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly, and the price was incredibly reasonable. No gimmicks, just straightforward, honest work. Professional and transparent every step of the way. Benchmark has definitely earned my trust, and I’ll be back for any future auto needs. Highly recommend!

Booked an inspection online, called and asked if I could drop off my car before they open at 8:30 and leave my keys in a drop box, so I could be to work at 8:00. They told me no, so I drove over the day before my appointment to see if I could drop it off before they closed at 6:00. When I arrived at 5:30 there was in fact a drop box for keys and the employees were getting in their cars to leave for the day. When I tried to open the door to the shop one of the guys rolled down his car window and just said “we’re closed”. Not even a “hi! sorry, we closed early today” just “we’re closed”. Canceling my appointment and taking my car somewhere else for an inspection, thanks for nothing.
Reply to Owner’s comment: Your policy is not the issue here, and I have no doubt that your employees are hardworking and deserved to leave early.
What would make me happy is if I didn’t have to put up with a bothered “what do you want?” attitude when calling or coming to your shop! If you close earlier than your posted hours, that’s totally fine! But when someone shows up for whatever reason at 5:30 thinking you close at 6:00, there is no reason to be rude about it. That is just bad for business. Even just putting a sign of the door saying “sorry, we’ve closed early today”would be a step in the right direction.
Also, people can see your replies to reviews. It just looks bad replying to people the way that you do. Hope you find a way to treat customers with more respect.

Don’t bother booking appointments online. You’ll show up and they’ll refuse to serve you. Booked a state inspection and was turned away. Waste of time.
If you can’t offer a state inspection give a heads up?
Update: I was rescheduled to today. Showed up and was told the system is down. At this point I am not coming back to this place. Ever. Absolutely zero communication. Avoid unless you break down in their parking lot.

I called on a Saturday morning with a nail in my tire and a slow leak. He said come in and within a very short time had removed the nail, installed a plug, and had me on my way. The service was great and the price was reasonable. Thank you!

I called this location to see if he did safety inspections. He said, “yes I can get you in at 11am.” I came to this business and the guy was very professional, knowledgeable and honest he won’t BS you and he makes sure your car is safe to hit the road. I totally recommend this location. Hamza is the owner and he is good at his job.

Benchmark is THE place to go for any and all car troubles! I was recommended this place from a family friend and I’ve been taking my car to them ever since! They are incredibly friendly and don’t charge you for things you don’t need!
