I like that Mr James Clark and his staff work so diligently in trying to help the community positively grow. I shared his “Grill to Glory” implementation with my church St Philip’s in The Ville area and it became an outdoor favorite for peace and harmony.

What a wonderful experience. My Nephew just moved here from Alaska. He graduated high school and is looking for a trade school or some kind of education. This was the perfect opportunity for him. There were people from all locations and trades eager to help him and they gave all kinds of information!

I love the better family life community. They're very resourceful and willingly helps grow in all aspects of an individual life to help them gain there independencey back after life situations. Staff always very professional, concerned about your interests & any kind of problems you may be experiencing. Even if it is sitting behind their desk & listening with sincere concern about you lively hood and making an effort to point you to the right direction that’ will help you and encourage you that you are not alone. More importantly, staff honor their commitment and call you yo further the help and process that’s needed. They don’t only talk talk, but also walk the walk. It’s blessing to know there’s a black community center that’s connected and concerned about the black community. BFL is a pillar of the community, and not only this community but offer help to ST. Louis residents as a whole no matter what the color of their skin is!
