Torry took great care of us when we brought our car in to Midas without an appointment. I rarely leave reviews unless service was exceptional, so I felt compelled to share my experience today (12/12/25). Torry was very professional, was an excellent communicator, and we felt cared for. We will definitely bring our car to Midas again in the future.

I took my vehicle to mitus roughly a month or so ago. I got my axle, replace. This was at the Hampton location. I drove my vehicle for a couple weeks. Noticing that my oil level continued to replenish. I would go to valen, get a top off and everything. But once it was time for the actual oil change, I took my cart to the dealership, and they noticed that my oil PAN was cracked on both sides and oil is now all over my engine. My car has been sitting at mitus for almost two weeks now. I have yet to hear anything moving forward. I'm not able to go to work when I do have to go somewhere my Uber. Uber is extremely proud. Pricey, i'm missing clients which is taking money away out of my pocket.I am very disappointed in the service I received.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
This location is poorly managed.
Was told my vehicle would be ready but it was not. Came back the next day when they said it would be ready and it still was not.
Terrible service, communication, and management.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the pricing and customer service I recently experienced at one of your locations. The prices quoted for standard services were excessively high compared to typical market rates, and I was not provided with a clear or detailed explanation for the charges.
This lack of transparency, combined with the dismissive attitude of staff, reflects poorly on Midas’s reputation for integrity and professionalism. I urge your team to review your pricing structure and customer service procedures to ensure they align with fair industry practices and the level of trust customers expect from your brand.
I hope Midas takes this feedback seriously and takes meaningful steps toward improving both transparency and customer experience.

I recently had an oil change performed at your location, and today I discovered that my vehicle is leaking transmission fluid. My car has not been serviced or taken anywhere else since the oil change, and there were no leaks prior to your service.
I contacted the store immediately, but unfortunately did not receive any meaningful assistance. I have since had my car towed and repaired elsewhere, at a total cost of $500 ($394 for the repair and $106 for towing). Since this issue occurred directly following your service, I expect your location to reimburse me for these expenses.
Please advise whether you would like me to provide a copy of the repair bill, or if you prefer to issue the payment directly. This matter requires your immediate attention and resolution.

Had an inspector named cass, inspect my 2016 Hyundai Accent With 49,xxx miles About three weeks ago. Came back and said that the car needed brakes, ball joints, and wipers($600+) Worth of work to get it to pass the safety inspection. My girlfriend is actually the one who brought it in. I told her to bring the car home and I suspected they were taking advantage. Brought the car down to a more reputable shop that passed everything but the wipers after telling them this whole story. When I called Midas to try to get a reinspection, they said they could no longer do it because they don't have an inspector and they are sorry about what happened.... I would not take your car here for absolutely anything. Not a trustworthy Shop.

The manager Daryen is awesome! Needed an oil change and he got me in right away. Very knowledgeable and professional. Kept me in the loop while I waited. Highly recommend this location!

I had a wheel alignment done which took over an hour and a half for them to do. Left and went right back because the steering wheel was not straight while driving straight, so they set it up on the rack to redo the alignment that took another 45 minutes and I the mechanic disappeared for a while leaving my truck running and when I asked the manager why my truck was left running with no one around the so called manager said they have to leave it running while setting up the lasers and the mechanic was in the restroom, which was a lie because when I went back into the waiting area I could see through the window to the office, the guy that was supposed to be working on my truck was in there with two other guys talking and watching videos on their phones for about 10 minutes. He finally went back out to my truck and apparently he was supposed to be done realigning the wheels because he took the laser pads off the wheels and pulled the truck out and drove it around the block and said it's all fixed. But it's not fixed so I took the truck to another location and the guy there said he's never heard of having to leave a vehicle running while putting the laser pads on or while doing an alignment. But this guy was upfront and told me their alignment machine was not working properly and I would have to go to another location which is about 30 miles from there.
Oh and one of the guys from the Hampton location was telling me that their alignment machine was not working properly after they already almost done with my truck the first time they done the alignment which is still not done right. And the manager is a liar and and don't know what he's doing, he ever told me that if he knew how to do an alignment that he would do it. So how can he be a manager if he doesn't now how to do all of the work on vehicles.
