the good: they got me in right away and were friendly enough
…otherwise BEWARE. Upsold me on an engine flush by telling me the old oil was black and that I should get one before putting the new oil in. Come to find out that oil is usually black when you change it 😂 I’m not totally ignorant on car stuff but I did not know that about the oil so I fell for that upsell.
They patched my tire, said there was a nail in it. I didn’t think to ask them to see the nail, but in hindsight I should have asked them but more importantly they should have just shown it to me… that’s good customer service and builds trust with your customer.
Then they proceeded to tell me I needed $2k+ in other repairs: new battery (took it home and it metered completely within tolerance), alternator (family friend, a mechanic, said alternator is fine). Tried to sell me a $450 rebuilt alternator, told me it was the cheapest they could find. I can get an OEM alternator for $300.
They said I needed new rear brakes and rotors, I will be getting a second opinion on that.
I felt like they tried to rob me blind because a) I was a woman there by myself b) I had brought my car in after it died so someone that’s emotional is really easy to upsell to.
Save yourself the insulting sales tactics and tow your car to a reputable shop.

Walked in for an emissions and safer, he let me know I didn’t need a safety! Had my passed emissions test and walked out the door in 25 mins! Great service! Highly recommended!

The manager Phil at this location is the best. As a single young lady who doesn’t know much of anything about cars. I could trust his word! He’s not overcharging me etc. he’s very professional and honest. 10/10!

Seem to be good honest guys. They helped me, a tech also, got cancer and needed help. Didn't tell them. So honesty check is good. Price is good too. Wish I could just rent a stall for myself. That would be sweet.

Phil was awesome he took care of my gmas car and found 3 things in one of the tires and there was a nail and 2 screws and one nail and he said we had no leaks im very grateful for Phil and his team at car x without him we would have had to buy a new tire thankyou Phil ???

I needed an emission inspection and they got me in right away and sent me a text report with pictures from the inspection. The manager was very helpful and friendly, the store was clean and there weren’t any attempts at “upselling” which was appreciated.
