This company is a scam! They stole the name of a legit company I had used before. The company owner is trash. They lie about rate and actually tried to steal all of my stuff in their truck when I wouldn't pay $900 they said I owed them to move a 2 bedroom apartment The movers were slow as dirt and took hours and even stopped to get food when they knew I was paying per hour. I actually had the get the police involved and they still were trying not to bring my belongings back. They ended up just tossing my stuff in front of my house and not even bringing it in! They damaged multiple items! Please avoid this company at all costs and do not listen to the lies they post in response to all the bad reviews! They are a total scam!

We used Markel and Super Cheap Movers to move from Ballwin to Wash Ave downtown. We had a lot of stuff and they did a nice job packing everything. The move took a lot longer than they expected and had to come back the next day to finish -- which is why we started on Saturday...you never know. I read the reviews here and what I find surprising is how confused people are about how a move works. The "Estimate" is for the initial move. It shows the minimum charge and what the hourly charge is therewafter. You could block out 3 men for 10 hours is you want and prepay for that, but if it takes only 8 hours you just overpaid. And no moving company on the planet is going to refund you that -- they blocked out the time for you because you wasted them to.Markel charged us exactly as promised. And he charges throughout the day accordingly as you spend what you've already paid. Is it weird? Maybe. But it's fair. And if you don't like it you can overpay elsewhere.

they will quote you a cheap price and only a couple of hours and then the day you areb moving they will add 3-4 times as mush as they qouted you and if you dont pay they will not unload your truck and then charge you to restock it and store it in storge then 300 dollars to re deliver it in "THEIR" u-hual trucks? liars and theifs, watch how they are constantly on the phone with the owners while they take their time moving u . they are basicly caseing your place as they are there making sure you are putting good enough stuff in the truck so they can launch their crooked stealing plan, and they insist on wrapping everything even if you move a mile away, BECAUSE IT WASTES MORE TIME . 3-4 mins each item $$$$$$$ CHA- CHIMP i mean ching. stole a whole truck from me even after i paid them, iam taking them to courtb and they are not showing up or returing my lawyers or my phone calls , which by the way they already went to court ( werll did not go thats why they lost last year and lost over the same bait and switch. price went from $320 for 2 hour but it took them 6 hours ( on purpose) and i moved only 1 1/2 miles from old house and the price went to $1600.00 in a mile, see they will tell you anything just waiting to get as much of your stuff into the uhual and then before they unl;oad it they will hit you with a crazy bill or they keep your stuff which in missouri there is NO law that a company or indavidual is allowed to just keep your stuff ,and then they will stop answering or thaey wont tell you where the office is because they dont have one and your stuck going to court if you are lucky enough to afford it, BUT their time is coming soon BUYER BEWARE AND PASS THIS ON TO ANYONE YOU CARE ABOUT BECAUSE SOME THINGS YOU JUST CANT REPLACE LIKE MY WATCH COLLECTION THAT MY DAUGHTER WOULD GIVE ME A NEW WATCH EVERY YEAR FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS I AM SUPPOSED TO GET MY NEW WATCH THIS YEAR AT THE END OF JULY. oh wait she passed away in Feb of this year,..................

Ok... I don't Normally review bad service. But here we go. My wife requested moving services from this company. She was quoted $390.88 with a $100 deposit, after I guess adding mileage or the equipment use she was quoted $490.88 with a $100 deposit. Movers came to our address and were totally incoherent and unprofessional. My wife gave specific instructions on what needed to be moved and to her surprise while she's assisting one of the movers, the other gentleman is doing his own thing rummaging through my daughters belongings that of which was not part of the move. My wife left it alone, she continued the process as it took 3 hours to move 9 big items. A couch set, entertainment system, a bedroom set and a dresser and kitchen table. This was a partially furnished 2 bedroom apartment. Upon arrival to our new home, the manager Marquell Markel... proceeded to harass my wife about pricing and paying via cashapp. I viewed on my ring camera that she had to exchange words with mister Markel... I viewed employee dropping and damaging my child's belongings that he was not even instructed was apart of the move. So on top of inability to follow contracts and estimates, incoherent employees and management, and damaged goods and harassing my wife for payment before a job that's incomplete... this was the worst experience I've ever had with a moving company.... Almost $700 for a partially furnished apartment to travel 6 miles plus headaches... I hope you get your moneys worth. I'll never recommend these ppl. Again Mr. Markell I ask that you do the right thing and refund my wife $100 for the overcharge, and keep your last estimated price for a job improperly and unprofessionally complete. There's a reason there is no address because these snakes don't stand behind their service and are incapable of confronting a customer whose faced disrespect, disruption and displeasure by a service they swear by. Never again.

After doing extensive research, and receiving several quotes, I decided to hire Super Cheap Movers for my move scheduled on November 12, 2022. This is my 3rd move in 2 years, but we thought if we did not purchase a house now, it would never happen. The movers were scheduled to arrive between 2pm-3pm on that Saturday afternoon. We initially asked for 4 hours and 2 men, but the text message stated 2 hours and 2 men. I called to clarify the time and I was told they will work until the job was done. The movers eventually showed up at 4:33pm, with a very loud and raggerty truck. I was just glad they made it, so I kept my mouth shut. The first thing I noticed about the 2 men is looked like they were on drugs. My son confirmed my suspicions. I knew at that time; this was about to be a mess. The men moved so slow, and was so weak, my husband and son helped to lift and move things on to the truck. My husband had to tell one of the workers to stop standing around and get to work several times. My max time frame was 4 hours, it when way beyond that time. After seeing how this was going, I stated just move the big things we will have to make other arrangements for the other things. They started to move the washer and dryer up from the basement and they scaped the walls and my appliances. During this time, I found out the person driving the truck does not have a driver's license. Also, one of the men asked my son to take him around the corner for drugs. They were not wearing the proper moving equipment and could not lift the items. The truck was full, and my house was still full of our things. We decided to cut it off and move on to our new home. We made it to the new home in about 20 mins, the truck with our things showed about 40 mins after that. We are now at almost 10 o'clock. Part of the agreement is you have to pay before they start taking things off the truck. I have never had to do this before, but I just wanted my things. We were tired and my husband was very upset. I received the first bill and there was a 5% processing fee. Luckily, I opened the email and did not rely on the text message sent. I called the movers office, and a young lady adjusted that amount because I was paying cash. I guess that is the fee if you are using a card. After making the payment, which they stood and waited without moving, the first item they removed from the truck was dropped and broken. I heard my son losing his mind because the guy tried to say he did not do that. I calmed the situation down and was told the situation would be handled at the end. We were getting charged the hour and everytime an hour got close, they would stop working and gather cash from us. I made a phone call and spoke to a guy (I know the name but trying to not blast him) and he was very condescending and argumentative about the situation and the performance of their employees. He justified their slowness stating they had not had a break and had been working or over 8 hours straight. (Not our fault) Stated they never had a complaint about these guys. L(hard to believe) That was not true because the previous representative stated this was not their first complaint. My husband refused to continue to speak to him anymore and threatened the movers and told them he was not paying another dollar. They started to move faster, with the help of my son and husband. The manager was supposed to call me on Sunday, and I received no communication. I called today and I was told the manager was on vacation. They paid me $200 cash for the broken item after I sent them the receipt for the item. My furniture is still laid on its side, nothing was put together. I have to rent another truck and movers to empty the home. I am very upset. I guess they thought I was going to let this go but I am not. Do not hire this company, pay the money for other movers. I had a better experience when rented a Uhaul and hired the labor through their site.

These scammers go by two different names. On craigslist, they are Super Cheap Movers LLC. Don't call them under any circumstance and don't believe a word Markell tells you. Once they have your deposit via app, they don't/can't provide any of the services they claim. Markell assured me they move refrigerators ALL the time. I explained the doors would have to be removed to get it out the door. The deposit to be $114 ($14 'transaction' fee) and $200 in cash when the movers arrived and before they would move anything. After changing their arrival time 3 times, two men and one woman arrived and said they had no idea how to move a fridge and they had no tools to take the doors off and they had no appliance dolly (or moving dolly) to get it out to their dilapidated truck. My son told them to leave and he immediately called Markell to get his deposit back for the service the movers told him they could NOT perform, but Markell refused. My son is disputing the charge and I am planning on complaining to the Missouri Attorney General's Office

Arrived 4 hours late. Stopped to eat and charged us for the time. Got lost and charged for their time while driving around. Quoted an estimated price of not more than $750. They took a deposit of $115 and $1100 after most of the furniture was moved in. Came back and demanded another $300 or they would not bring in the rest of the furnishings. Workers were very rude. They obviously took advantage of my 93 year old mother and 90 year old sister. I wish they would have called the police rather give into these threats. After all of this incompetence, the two movers had the nerve to request a tip! Stay away from this company!! They are a rip off!!

It’s despicable when someone attempts to help someone in need and someone else takes advantage of them to make a buck! If i wasn’t a good Christian man I’d have some choice words for how i really feel about them! Definitely ?? For them!!!!
