I have to admit, I loved working out here until I had to cancel my membership due to moving out of the state because of a promotion. When I signed up at the gym, I was told that there would be no cancellation fee. After reading the reviews here, I wish I had done so before I signed up. The day I cancelled my membership I was charged $129.24 twice. Then, I called customer support but it kept cutting me off the line because there was not an option to speak to a real human being. Later on, I tried calling again (5th time) and finally was able to reach someone. They stated that there was a cancellation fee, but I was charged twice. I asked why there was a cancellation fee due to me moving across the US and that I was told there would be no cancellation fee or any hidden fees when I signed up. To say the least, this has been the worst gym I have ever purchased a membership from and I have been to approximately 10 gyms now. I will be reading every fine little detail in the contract from now on. It is ridiculous how I had to pay the $129.24 just to cancel my account.

Are used to love this gym but now they change the rules that I cannot go anywhere. I went to the gym this morning. They told me I can work out here in Creve Coeur. They had to go to a Maplewood. That’s messed up that pissed me off because I’m ready to go to the gym and he told me no used to pay the premium membership I definitely do not recommend the number I want to cancel my membership today

Communication and billing practices are terrible. This month they randomly decided all previous "legacy" memberships with 24hr access are no longer valid and you have to sign up for a new upgraded plan to have 24hr access (instead of only staffed hours). They didn't even send an email or text letting you know... everyone is going up to the door and their access is denied with no way to understand why. There isn't even a number you can call or a direct line to any gym, just an offshore 800 number for tech support which is useless. Getting ready for a workout and driving to the gym only to not be able to get in because of some arbitrary contract change is extremely frustrating. Being forced to pay another $10 a month and a yearly garbage fee to keep the same membership I signed up for is ridiculous. If your near any other gym I would recommend that one instead.

WTF can't they get billing figured out at club fitness? Every time my billing address has changed or credit card expires they just shut off my access, no notifications, no emails, no calls, you are just left trying to figure out why your access doesn't work. There is no direct phone call line into any location only an offshore call center for billing issues. This location is just OK, kinda small compared to maplewood or others and it's somehow always warm in there. If it's full or people and everyone is sweating and working out it needs to be like 68 or cooler instead of hot and humid.

Unless you intend on having a lifetime membership do not join club fitness. TheirApp is totally useless in managing your account with no ability to adjust your membership. 1-800 call center, and any other form of customer service is absolutely atrocious. I've been trying to freeze and then cancel my membership for months. I don't live near the location I opened my membership nor do I intend to drive there. the only way you can cancel membership is to drive where you opened it and speak to a manager. They won't let you do it online and you can't do it by calling anybody. it's absolutely absurd and ridiculous. I changed my credit card so they stopped billing me and I get hassled with phone calls everyday ask me to update my billing information. Absolutely atrocious way to do business. I was going to temporarily cancel and then get a membership in a year or two when I'm financially and physically able. I will never do business with this company again

Do not use this gym! Zero stars. They will mess up your billing and over charge. Good luck getting your money back. Also I noticed the crowd of people that belong there is very uncomfortable. Bad vibes. Shut this gym down please asap

I like it. I'm a bit spoiled by some of the other gyms I've been to in TX like Alphaland and Apex... nothing like those really here in STL. But it's a decent gym, good amount of equipment, pretty tight quarters sometimes but, just be aware of who's around you.

If I were to give this establishment a review it would be negative stars! The worst customer service! I signed up in the winter, talked to a customer service rep. He says no commitment fee, no contract, no cancellation fee! Told me I would have 3 personal training session and could use recovery room. I was really excited about recovery room! One month in I tried to use personal training went up to the desk and was told I had to pay.. then was ALSO told I could not use recovery room. I explained to the personal trainer I was told it was free, she told me it was a mistake. They equipment was too expensive so you needed a personal trainer to use it, which cost. I was highly disappointed. Called and left messages that went understand. Got fed up. Went to cancel membership which by the way has to be done in person! (Funny you can get a membership online but can't cancel)! Membership front desk person told me no fee and I had 30 days to use my membership. Kid you not two days later I had an email that said my membership ended in a week and charged me $129.24!! I called left messages, emailed, called abc fitness solutions. Got the ring around and guess what! No return phone calls right away. Finally Greg called, I told him my problem. He said it's Friday. Let me talk to my people and see what I can do. I'll call Monday. Guess what! No return phone call. I called two times and left messages! Noooo return phone call. It's been over a week. Nothing. Worst run business do not join!

I have visited all of the Club Fitnesses in then St Louis and St Charles area, this is by far the unfriendliest of them all. The employees here really need to work on their customer service!! They barely speak and if you ask a question or need help with something they act as if you are really bothering them smh. Let’s get it together at this location!

I was working out in one of the specialty exercise area and suddenly a worker starts vacuuming and mopping around me. He didn’t say a word — not “excuse me”, “this area is closed” — just nothing. It was so bizarre.

They need to makes sure things are stocked play better music to get and keep you in the workout mode.The sauna keeps breaking down and they take forever to fix it.They have lost a lot of people that use to come in the morning.A lot of us like to workout with the same people and now most have left.Some days they don't even have music playing and it feels like it's just dead in there.Couple of the staff guys that were there left now and the place just keeps going down.It could get better if maybe when you try and talk to the older guy staff and let them know they don't just blow you off with bad attitudes.Randall is the best and the best. YANK!!!

They have a problem with keeping the locker/ sauna clean. This place has not been opened that long after remodel and it's already down the drain employees and management don't care for cleanliness especially the saunas look how clean this floor is and it's 9:30 in the morning update 7-31-23 picture 2 was taken this morning
