Club Viva is a fun go-to spot in St. Louis for salsa, bachata, and other Latin dancing. It offers a good atmosphere with a welcoming crowd and very friendly, helpful staff. The music is always on point. They have free and very fun basic lessons every Thursday and Saturday night, with delightful and encouraging teachers. People are willing to help newcomers learn. The club is in a nice-looking area with restaurants and an ice cream shop nearby, though the premises can feel a bit dingy and unfinished. They do not serve food but usually have a good vendor. It is definitely worth a try, especially for those new to the city.
Viva is a great place to meet people, learn how to salsa and to enjoy good food and drinks. The food is always on point and security makes sure we feel safe and protected while were there. He will even walk you to your car at the end of your night!

Viva is a gem in STL. It’s been my place for a minute-especially for salsa & Afro beat night. Bring your girls or your guy, it’s a great atmosphere for people that just wanna enjoy themselves. The security is on point as well. I never have to worry about my safety.

The security team here always makes me and my guests feel welcomed. Anytime I'm still on the dance floor the security team makes sure my lady friends get out safely.
