Upon arriving for my first day I wasn’t greeted at all even though I arrived 35 minutes early. 25 minutes went by during my shift and I was finally greeted but, with no apology. When I met the managers none of them seemed welcoming at all due to their body and facial language. During class I constantly volunteered to proof read all rules, policies, and procedures associated with Commerce. I answered all questions and asked them as well since the class didn’t seem to encouraged to participate at all. After class I was ridiculed for coming too early and was asked to wait in my vehicle until 5 minutes during my regular shift for security purposes and overcrowding the lobby. During my third day I began to get sick due to my manager stating on day 1 ( “This room was previously exposed to Coronavirus last week be sure to wash your hands in between brakes.”) I followed these instructions and still got sick. The managers had an attitude when they seen me with a mask and my voice depleting, I was told “ If you can’t participate in call verbally or, if we can’t see your face you must go home.” Instead of Commerce offering me to rescheduling a class next week they chose to disregard my symptoms and speak about the situation publicly in the class room. The next day I showed up with a doctors note and was finally offered a rescheduled class appointment but it wouldn’t be until 4 weeks (even though I spoke to the branch manager and was told there’s a class next week) Due to the micromanagement, poor communication, lack of responsibility and resources if never recommend this company to anyone. Unless, you can acquire a superior position at the branch or, can work remotely from home %100.

I don’t go to the bank often but the idea of having to bring two young children into the bank to do transactions is absurd. Way to go eliminating your drive through tellers with a replacement ATM to speed up everyone’s process (just to be clear I’m being sarcastic here). It was bad enough to wait in an ATM line for just withdrawals of other people. But now replacing your multiple drive through teller lines with the ATM that was already there is pretty horrible customer service. You’ve not been great to begin with but this move sets the bar even lower!!

Sorry for everyone's trouble with this bank. I lived overseas for 20 years, and this bank was my lifeline for paying plane tickets, buying online, etc. The customer service on the phone always went the extra mile. They also protected me from ripoff artists.We all have different experiences. I have a very positive feeling toward Commerce.

This the worst bank I have ever dealt with. All they do is lie, after depositing a check the supervisor put a hold on it for 7 days for no reason then 10days later I received a email from Kierra R. stating that my funds would be available for sure at 12am and my check is still not clear. If you are planning to start an account here please don’t the staff will lie and be a inconvenience if they don’t like you. The top people at the bank headquarters told my that the bank a Creve Coeur put a unnecessary hold on my account.

This the worst bank I have ever dealt with all they do is lie to you, I put a check in my account made out to my business and the supervisor here put a 7 day hold on my check that lasted 10days and the check is still not clear on day 10. Kierra Riaze, sent me an email stating the check would clear for sue at 12am to send over to my landlord but that was a lie now I have no business anymore. If you have an account with them close it and if you plan on getting a account with this bank please please don't!!! This is the only bank that bank employees can put holds on your account if they don't like you.

Hours posted on the door rate wrong. Say the drive thru is open until 5:00 but it is not. Hours very limited.

Bad service. It was two tellers working and it was a guy behind the counter when I walked in he walked from behind the counter asked what I need and then just stood next me. I was very uncomfortable. When the next teller was available I walked up. Another man walked in and the guy who stood next me for 15 min helped that guy immediately. I don’t appreciate having to wait that long and then the next guy got help immediately. All I needed was a money order which is easy to do.

Been going here about a year and have never had any problems. Was prompted to post a review because I had a bad experience at another bank in the area (not Commerce related). Seemed like there were some bad reviews on this branch, but I've had a great experience here so far. Most of the time they're quick, but yes sometimes you do have to wait in a line. Some of the other reviewers haven't quite grasped the concept of lines and how you have to wait your turn if someone shows up before you. The longest I've waited is about 10 minutes for basic checking account stuff. If you need anything more advance where you sit down with a specialist maybe a little longer than that but not much.
