I just wanted to use the restroom in the Costco. They forbade me go inside without a membership card even though I am a member.

Rude workers here, and most of the time, the items you are looking for are out of stock, and the employees have no idea or too lazy to help you.

Terrible crowded store. I almost got panic attack. Store should be open at 3 AM. I don't even understand how that many people can be in the store at the same time.

I had to edit my rating after so long to 2 stars because of what a nightmare things have been lately. I don't mind that they've set up membership scanners but what I do mind is how rude the associates are when they stop you from going to the food court. Just set up a scanner by the exit!
What really gets me is my husband broke his foot about a year ago and I have two hip replacements but we're young so we don't "look disabled" and get held up. We even talked to the assistant manager, Josh I think his name was, about how frustrating it was to be rudely turned away and told to go all the way around the store. I just want a hotdog after filing taxes almost all day.
It's just so frustrating because it comes across like the workers are worried people without memberships are going to do something so dastardly as to order food. From a food court. That's absolutely braindead. Who cares if someone comes in and orders food? What are they even worried about? Is someone going to walk off with one of the army sized goods they sell?
I'll change my review back to five stars when the experience stops sucking so bad.

I recently had a terrible experience at Costco that has really turned me off from shopping there. The new membership card scanning at the entrance is a nightmare. It’s incredibly inconvenient, especially when you're in a hurry or have kids with you.
To make matters worse, I had a particularly awful encounter with a rude employee. My son was having a potty emergency, and we tried to quickly enter through the food court entrance to get to the restroom. Instead of understanding our situation, the employee raised their voice at us and insisted we go through the main entrance and scan our membership card first. It was an extremely stressful and frustrating experience.
Costco really needs to rethink their policies and staff training. Customers shouldn’t be treated this way, especially in emergency situations. I’m seriously considering canceling my membership after this ordeal.. don’t even get me started on them not rolling back the DEI policies…

Traffic; parking and checkout was rough especially on a Saturday. Still has a very good selection and good prices. Costco for the most part has always been my go to..

They require you to now scan your card everywhere instead of just showing it to get in. Won’t let you go to the food court through the exit anymore. Very unplesant experience.
