BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do not have regular business hours as we are volunteer run with no paid staff. To meet an animal you are interested in adopting the first step is to go to our website and fill out our online adoption application. Please call 314-833-8066 to schedule an appointment if you’d like to visit the shelter. We are a non-profit, no-kill adoption center for cats, kittens, and dogs. The shelter is run 100% by volunteers and operates under Friends of Animal Control and Rescue (FOACAR), a 501c(3) organization dedicated to the care and welfare of animals. Location: Whitecliff Park. Watch for "pet adoption" sign & take this road by 1st ball field to shelter (see cat banners hung up on our building).
