Hillside always gives him fantastic care, so much love and kindness. They will answer every question and give you all the options available. We even moved and now it’s a bit further to get to Hillside, but we’ll always keep coming to them.”

“I took my twenty year old cat to Animal Eye Assistant for an ulcer on his eye at the recommendation of his regular vet, Dr Mark Lux. They were kind, compassionate, and extremely thorough.
Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Walter in August. He had been to see the doctors at Animal Eye Associates twice, and I had to call to cancel a follow up appointment. The women who answered the phone was very kind.
About a week after I called to cancel, I received a condolences card that was hand written with messages from the doctors and staff who had cared for my guy. My husband and I were so touched by the thoughtful gesture! Then, yesterday, we received a letter notifying us that they had donated in Walter's memory to a veterinary school!!

“We struggled to give our cat gabapentin and called the emergency line for help the night before a flight. The team gave us quick instructions on how to administer the medication orally by dissolving the pill in salmon juice and squirting it into her mouth with a soft tip syringe. Thank you team!!”

Luckily the Doc was not concerned and didn’t try and upsell any of the tests the proposed. My pets eyes were back to normal with in a day of seeing them I think it was something in his eye and it came out on its own. They were great!! We love this place!!”
“I’ve been taking my pets to Big Bend Veterinary for years, and I’ve always felt confident that they’re in good hands. Dr. Hooks is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and thorough. He has cared for my dog and two cats for everything from microchipping, spay/neuter procedures, and dental cleanings to tooth extractions, and he’s also been very helpful with questions about behavior and general pet care.
What stands out most is that you can tell he genuinely cares about both animals and the people who bring them in. Him and his team take the time to answer questions, explains things clearly, and I’ve never felt like corners were being cut.
