Good evening I'm going to take my time and try to find out who's the district manager over this Dollar general location is doing so bad to the point where they can never service the public correctly. These stores forever being broken into any store is ever being broken into and they barely have anything that you need and you can never buy or pay for anything Because they cash your drawer on never work you can't even load money on your card like you used to at the store location? this store is not even fit to service the public anymore they don't never have anything that you need the store cannot service the public at all this store need to be shut down and to make matters even worse you can barely pay for anything you can never get change you can't even load money on your cash app card anymore ? this story is forever being robbed I don't think the employees want to continue to put their life at risk like this this stores forever being robbed and held up at gunpoint I'm going to take my time and reach out and try to find out who's the district owner of Dollar general on this location and try to find out where is the manager at this store is really doing very poorly ?? this Dollar general at this store location need help somebody need to call security because they definitely need that

I go in atleast 4to5 times a week employees are sitting on their asses on their phones the line is long as he'll with 1 register going the shelves are empty carts sitting all over with full boxes of merchandise still packed up and not being put away they pick and choose to who they make put their backpacks behind the counter while they shop the place has went to hell.employees calling customers names employees stealing from the store their closed more than their open half the time their system is down waut in line 20 .ins to be told cash only or exact change only its rediculous half the time the prices on the shelves aren't what you get charged at the register always more the only person I ever see stocking shelves or anything was aileen which is no longer there they let the black ppl rob them blind and the harrassing the white ppl that go in there the let the blacks come in there with bags and backpacks on and they make the white ppl leave their purses and bags behind the counter while they shop they are very racist can't call and make a compliment cause the mail box is full this place needs to be closed down

Showed up at 7pm at they were closed even though they say they are open until 9. After taking a quick glance at the comments, that is typical for them.

Always closing whenever they want to. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked here just to find out the associates decided to close 30 minutes to an hour early. Frustrating considering it’s the only thing downtown open until 9.

This store sucks! I live on Washington Avenue. I love Dollar general especially in small towns where you can't get items conveniently. The first thing you notice is the plywood on the windows, maybe they want to blend in with the "ghost town chice" of the rest of downtown St. Louis. Then who go in the store all the shelves are bare! I understand that this is down to prevent shop lifting, but it seems a it extreme. I went in looking for bleach, finally saw a bottle in the back on a tall shelf. Continued to stare at the empty shelves a lady asked me if I was looking for something, she pointed to the blank shelf. I said "I noticed a bottle o a higher shelf in the back. I'd get it myself but then I'd have to sue the store when I fell." She responded that she didn't work there. Later when I went to pay for two of the four items I went in for I saw her behind the counter.

Yes today was my first and only problem from. This store until today. The young lady DeeDee just was so rude when I asked her about the phones inside the case and she was on her phone and said to me I have to take my issue up with dg so I asked her for the number. Then she said I had to look it up. But when I left out the store she continued saying things because another customer said when they left out about her saying why she was talking like that in front of the customers. So no I would not recommend this store to anyone but it's location is convenient And I was a loyal customer.

I love how convenient this place is. I take the Metrolink often. Since DGX is close to Convention Center Metrolink stop, I can hop off the train and get some last minute shopping done.

Was sent here to pick up two DoorDash orders. The store was closed at 5:15 PM when the sign clearly says they close at nine on a Friday night. Door was locked. Tried calling the store to no answer. Had to cancel the order. Oh well. I Just missed out on a good payday.
