No greeting or friendliness, just "what do you got?" when i walked up. But they are short staffed and they got me out *fast* and that's what I *really* needed most. The 3 people seemed to be working efficiently and I'd take the speed over the pleasantries any day, but I work with the public, so i notice these things right away. With all the signs stating what you *cant* do while waiting there, I imagine they've been dealing with some extra irate people lately, which would explain the somber mood. Hopefully they can hire more staff to help them.

I went in to get a real id and received my temporary. The next day I realized they spelled my name incorrectly on my temporary, I went back to get it corrected and was told that I need to wait for my id to be delivered in the mail (which takes up to 30 days), then come back and I would still have to pay for another id even though this was not my mistake… a true waste of time and money.

When you log in, you are told if there is a long line and if so, that you can leave and they will let you know when to head back. I wish the girl doing the "pre-check" on the DL renewals had known that because she told me I was kicked out of the system for not being there when she called my name. Fortunately that was not true but she was incredibly rude. Also, if you are pay your bills online and need a mailed document for the Real ID they don't accept photocopies of your downloaded bills.

So, so, so, so much better than the Affton location. Use the app! You still need to wait, but it makes everything so much easier.

Friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking. Uses Qless app. What's not to like?
Some of the earlier reviews noted that they stopped using Qless, but it is back online now and makes it incredibly easy.

Worst DMV I have ever been too…. Will never return and thats so sad because I live in Maplewood! I had 2 separate workers that were incompetent and sent me out.. So I went to another branch with same docs and was in and out no issues!!

When I visited here in 2023, I was so disappointed due to their slow processes and a rude employee. It was obvious that they needed more employees.
I visited here today and realized that they have significantly improved their services. The process is fast, and they have an online booking system, which is very efficient.
I was so impressed and really like this place now.

I wish I'd gotten the name of the rep who helped me this morning! I needed a replacement license. I made sure to have my stuff ready, but she was able to tell me exactly what I'd need to get a Real ID and was just very pleasant to work with. The office was a bit crowded but the employees were keeping the lines moving so I was still in and out in under half an hour. 👍 I'm glad I drove the 2 miles extra to use this location after comparing reviews of other nearby locations.

The employees there really nice people.
