I went into the store to buy a couple Christmas cards that I was not able to buy during the week before. because I had strep and I did not go out. I went in after 10:00 so they had been open at least an hour
I picked up some money cards at the door and the lady walks up tells me those are not for sale they're marked down to a penny. I told her they should have been pulled off the shelf when the store opened she proceeded to pull them off behind me.
Went to check out they came up a penny and she said I could not buy them I asked for the district manager she said I could not talk to the district manager. Could not give out their personal phone number. I don't want a personal phone number they should be able to call me back or I call them at a corporate number. I would have to talk to the store manager. The lady RITA, I think her name was was very rude yelling across half the front of the store and THROWING stuff in a cart as she was working of course I yelled back. She coild have came over to talk to me. No way to treat a customer I've worked in retail for years, she's very Unprofessional.
Tried calling corporate office and of course you get China or Japan not sure where it was and they read you their script. Said you have to send an email to the company with your complaint. Ridiculous what are things coming to.

I love a Dollar tree! Excellent place to get greeting cards priced right. You can't beat $1.25 for just about everything they have, from party supplies, kitchen ware, snacks, candy, cleaning products and more. Plus their online store for everything you want to buy in bulk.

Lots of low priced items to choose from. Some things are still only a dollar. My new go to store for batteries...look what you can get for $1.25. Cashier was smiling & friendly...took care to wrap some fragile items for another customer. Wish they had some music playing...I actually love to hear background Christmas music this time of year.

This store never has helium. I was in the middle of putting my stuff on the conveyer belt and I turn around and the person shut off thier light and walked away! Then the other workers just stared at me. Very odd experience I'll go to another Dollar Tree from now on.

I would have given it a 5 star because the store is well stocked but was so turned off when the guy checking me out told me none of the carts leave the store even if you are willing to bring it back in. I spent close to $70.00 with about 10-12 bags and some were heavy from cleaning product containers. REALLY!?!?. So I'll drive a little further and go to the one on Lemay Ferry. Ridiculous

This Dollar Tree seems to have better options and more stocked items to choose from than some/many of the other stores in the area. Prices range from $1.25 to $1.50 generally. I didnât see anything higher but I didnât get to see every item in the store. One thing I was kind of put off by was that their app no longer exists. I saw and followed one employee who I thought may have been a manager because he went into the office. I knocked on the door and asked about the app. He was completely clueless. He didnât even seem to know what an app was so I tried to explain it to him but received a confused look and he just answered, âUh, no. I donât think we have one of those.âI went to the cashier and she said they shut it down a while ago. However, she told me I could go to the website to order anything they carry and have it shipped to any store to save on shipping costs, which is helpful to send things to my daughters and granddaughter in another state. She was so much more helpful than the âManagerâ. Instead of just saying âNoâ, she gave me an alternative to use for what I was looking for.I was also looking for a particular item and decided after my interaction with the manager that I would ask the employee who was actually stocking shelves if they carried it, figuring she would know best. She was very pleasant when I interrupted her and told me they didnât have it in the style I was trying to find and offered other alternatives. Unfortunately, they werenât what I needed.Overall, it was a good experience but I think the Dollar Tree Regional or Corporate offices should make sure their employees (especially the managers) are aware of modern technology or popular items that have been discontinued, like their mobile app, so they can correctly and confidently answer questions from customers and learn to offer alternatives.
