Poor Service and Management at DTLR
My recent visit to this DTLR location was extremely disappointing. I walked in and staff passed by without a single greeting or offer to help. I stood at the shoe wall wanting to make a purchase, but since customers can’t retrieve their own shoes, I needed assistance that never came.
Between concerns about employee behavior (theft) and consistently poor customer service, it’s hard to see this store thriving without serious changes. Shoes are a basic need, but there’s no reason to buy them in a place where you don’t feel welcomed or valued. I hope management addresses these issues and trains staff to treat every shopper with respect and professionalism.

Customer service is horrible…. They just have ppl waiting around while they walking around doing nothing….a lady came in after me and had to yell “ is anybody working in here”. Then they say awe what do you need …. I’m like damn why do I have to yell an be rude in order to get service smh. I waited over 45 minutes and it wasn’t even packed I walked out just wasted my time smh……

I placed an online order with in-store pickup. This was my first time ordering or even visiting this store. My wife attempted to pick them up and was told that it hadn't been pulled and would be another 2 hours before it would be ready. Like how long does it take to go in a stock room, grab a box of shoes and complete the order? She then asked if she could purchase them outright and we'll just cancel the online order. That apparently didn't make sense to the young lady or the manager either. They finally pulled the shoes and sent me a confirmation that the order was ready. I forwarded this email to my wife and they STILL wouldn't give her the shoes or allow her to purchase them. The young lady then ask my wife if she had MY ID to show.... like why would my wife have my ID and even if she had it, what would that prove? My wife ended to leaving with no shoes and I had to drive up there myself. The 2 managers seem just as useless as the employees that were working in the store.

Call before you go their store hours that are posted doesn’t matter they open and close when they want. Also, the customer service is bad so don’t have any high expectations.

I ordered my shoes online to have them delivered to this store and it has been closed for 2 days. It states my order arrived, this is ridiculous my shoes paid for and y’all didn’t have to wait for the money. All I want is my shoes, will not be returning at all. This the Halls Ferry location!! Oh let’s not forget the Manager had an emergency yesterday standing outside waiting on a ride when she could’ve grabbed my shoes while waiting on her ride. Yes, we know emergencies happen but your waiting for someone to pull up, literally 5mins to grab my shoes while waiting.

I had an online order to pick up. I called several days yo confirm my package was there, no one never answered the phone. I went inside the store to inquire & the worker at registered did not acknowledge I was standing there. They are unprofessional & slow. They need new management & workers.

There is always one worker at the register with a store full of workers… I was waiting in line for over 30 minutes and I was only getting ONE item. There was only one other person in front of me so I don’t know what the hold up was. Actually I do no one wants to work but they will stand around the store. Do they need help? Do they only have one register? It’s always and only stores in north county that have POOR customer service and workers who dont like to work. I’ll never come here again.

Hood, hood and mo Hood!
Customer service is horrible.
You don't know who works there because no uniforms and no acknowledgment. Asked an older cat, when will they have my size, his response was.'I don't know we get shipments err day"
I left the store and ordered online and received them 2 days later.

When dealing with your own people it’s always a problem. I called to have my husbands name added as a pick up person which took customer service 30 mins to answer. Then when my husband arrived he was not acknowledged when arrived in the store. He was then given my order with the order slip rubber banded on my jacket. The slow chick didn’t have enough sense to put the item inside a bag. So when he asked for a bag instead of putting the item in the bag she just handed it to him. It cost $0 to have common courtesy. Never shopping with DTLR again!
