They’re extremely understaffed, and the wait time for vehicle pickup exceeds an hour. Save yourself the hassle, head to the airport or another location for faster service.

They are Understaffed and manager is disorganized They never have cars when they say they will. Long wait time hours. I saw patient people ignored and getting upset after waiting for hours. Elderly did not have any place to sit. Then the manager became upset with them for following up after he ignored them and helped people over the phone instead

BEWARE: Downtown St Louis 2233 Washington Ave Saint Louis, MO 63103
My experience with this location was horrible. Leo the Assistant Manager who advised me he was actually the store manager gave me such a hard time and refused to rent to me. I've always used Enterprise on every vacation, trip, or when having car issues and never had not one single issue. I was definitely racially profiled at this location and at one point was told in order to rent a car I would need to do 14 days up front. I've never heard of that. The way I was treated was very hurtful and stressful. I left there feeling depleted and embarrassed. I flew from Charlotte NC to St Louis to visit with my daughter who's in her first year of the Air Force for Thanksgiving. Our Thanksgiving was ruined because we were unable to shop for food the proper way due to not having a vehicle. We ended up using Go Puff which costed a pretty penny and wasn't able to get everything that we needed for dinner. I've never been treated so badly. I have put in a complaint with Customer Service to speak with the area manager. I also left a message for the district manager but haven't received a call back yet. I can't let this type of racism happen to anyone else. I'm going all the way with this complaint, it bothers me to know that a person will pick and choose who to publicly give service to based on skin color and gender. I am not okay with this. The gentleman who served me was very polite and clear. I rented a car to drop off in Wisconsin––and rented the return as well––and everything went by without a hitch. I will definitely rent here again.

I really enjoyed my experience at this enterprise location! My car had exploded and, I had a rental within an hour from this location and, they made sure everything went smoothly with my insurance company. I even switched out the rental and they made sure to give me what I wanted and, made sure the entire process was smooth. I also appreciated the ride to work and s/o to lady with the braids seems like she keeps everything in order and professional!

The cars always smell like smoke. All of them, all the time. It's so gross and never that way at an airport. I don't understand how every single car smells this way, but be warned. It's nauseating.

I’ve had to rent a car twice in the last month due to my car having issues. I made reservations online and had the best experience at this location. Shelby and her staff are the best! The first reservation was made for a full size car. Once there, because of how busy they were, they didn’t have any of that size. Shelby asked if I was ok with another vehicle and I was upgraded to a different vehicle for the same price I had my reservation for. Shelby knew I was in a hurry and got me what I needed so I could get on the road to my destination. The second reservation I made for this weekend. Upon arrival, they were again busy but I was still greeted by Shelby, by name, as she remembered me from the last time. She got to me as quickly as she could and asked about my reservation. Due to them being busy, she had ran out of available cars at her location. As she was announcing to the lobby of others that she needed them to go to a different location that had plenty of available vehicles, she looked at me and another patiently waiting customer and assured us we had rentals waiting but unfortunately we had to be taken to another location. Shelby got one of the gentleman there to get their transport van ready and he got us to the location where vehicles were waiting for us. Shelby and the other staff there that I’ve dealt with are fantastic! They know how to treat their customers and get them taken care of despite being as busy as they were. If I need to get another rental, this is the place I’ll go to!
