I am pretty sure I have given them a 5 star review back in 2022 and 2023 when I had my Hyundai ( kai boy) stuff go on. But they have done it again! I forever will be a enterprise customer not only did they show AMAZING customer service and let me keep the car way past the time, they were willing to work with me and give me a ride out to St. peters of no charge just so they could have a vehicle back because they were short on vehicles and I could get mine. I am so grateful for them and will be happy to use them again and again. I will always be looking forward to using enterprise to make life feel a little bit easier. Thank you soo much to the driver who took me out to saint peters from Clayton, of course I gave him a tip but I wanted to also included him in this review such a sweet wise man. anyone I talked to over the phone was just awesome JT, connor and so many more you guys rock!

I rented a car from the ladue location for an emergency road trip it was the most terrifying experience during my travels with my seven year old granddaughter in the middle of the night on the dark road the defrost system in the vehicle stopped working as cars drove passing us at 75 miles the posted speed limit I could only do 40 I could feel myself shaking as I prayed the entire trip until I was able to pull over I was 200 miles from my destination I contacted the company the next day and was instructed to take the car to the closet location where again they didnāt have any vehicles so they gave me a pickup truck I noticed Friday night that they company had sent a modified email with a over $200 up charge on a unsafe vehicle that me and my grand child could have had a tragic end if I could Iād rate them a 0

Mike was great! Customer service was A1. Also, the two women working with him (one was a trainee) were great. Hank was a great chaperone. Can't say good enough commentary about how pleasant our experience was. Thank you Clayton team!

We reserved a truck arrived at pickup and the manager basically said they meant to call as the rarely have trucks available. None of the other locations had one so we were basically SOL.

First time renting privately since being back in the states and first time at this location. Chuck and Allison made my reservation efficient and enjoyable. I will be returning and referring for future needs.

I Would Recommend This Establishment To Others. Everyone Was Nice. Brad Hennen Was Very Professional And Made Sure He Took Good Care Of My Wife And I. Brad Made Sure That The Business With The Insurance Company Was Handled In A Professional, Proper Manner. His Customer Service Was/Is Polite, Kind, Professional And Attentive.

I was sent to Enterprise in Ladue to get a car while my vehicle is in the shop being repaired. I called a day prior to make sure everything was setup before going to get a vehicle which it was. When I arrived, the young lady was very nice and began to ask me questions. She then proceeded to tell me what type of vehicle I had in the shop (which is a large sedan) and then told me that the only vehicle she had was a Nissan Sentra which is much smaller than mine. I informed her that the warranty company will pay up to $100 per day for a rental vehicle and that was not acceptable. She then told me that she had another vehicle on the way back from the shop. I told her I could not wait but I could come back later when she get more vehicles. As I was leaving, I notice 4 employees get into a Chevy Taho and leave.
I then received a call approximately an hour later for the same staff member informing me that the vehicle had arrived. I then went back to the location and noticed that the other staffed members had returned with more vehicles. I entered and was assisted by another staff member. He was instructed to give me a Chevy Malibu which was the car that returned from the shop. As we went outside, I asked him why do they ask what we drive or tell me what I drive and then offer the smallest car on the lot. He replied and told me they have no way of knowing what people drive because the insurance company do not provide that information. I asked was that my only option and he said yes because the insurance company will only cover so much. I then informed him that I was there because of my warranty company and they cover up to $100 per day and he said that is all they have.
As we walked around the vehicle, I pointed out the rear bumper because the pain was chipped in a few areas. He replied and said "that is normal wear and tear." As we got on the inside of the vehicle, I informed him that the vehicle smell like smoke. He told me he didn't smell it and I asked him to document it anyway because I sell it. The interior was stained and the carpet in the front looked as if someone pulled it up to hide something. I went back a few days later and asked about switching vehicles and was told by another staffed member they didn't have any cars and I could be put on a list to be switched out.
When I returned the vehicle today, the same employee checked me in. He asked me how was the vehicle and I informed him it still smells like smoke. He did his walk around and told me everything was good. He then asked me if he sent me a survey could I give them a excellent. I told he I couldn't do that because my experience was not good. He then offered me a 10% discount on my next rental and ask if I would at least speak to the manger. I told him that I didn't want to speak to the manager and I had to go.
The customer service was poor and they should have offered to make it better before giving me the vehicle and not after it was returned. It was nothing to do to make it better after returning the vehicle. The effort to make it rite at the end, should have been the effort in the beginning.

Cancelled my reservation that I made weeks ago the day before (great, no car to see the eclipse, and no other options since they cancelled so late). They said on the phone that this has been happening on a recurring basis throughout the surrounding St. Louis area where they have been consistently overbooking beyond their capacity. If they know this, why hasnāt it been fixed? Why call the day before?? They must have known beforehand that they wouldnāt have a car. I have had multiple other bookings cancelled the day before at other Enterprise locations in the past. If you want to actually have a car after reserving one (crazy, right?), Enterprise is a business you want to AVOID!!!
Edit: In response to the reply, with an over 50% historical cancellation rate from Enterprise anecdotally, this cannot be attributed to āoutside of your controlā, but to poor business decisions that need to be fixed.
