I came to get a ball python, they helped me get everything I needed and answered all my questions. When we were checking out, I was accidentally overcharged and they made it right with me right away, they were very patient. I do not do well with social stress as I am neurodivergent, I started to get choked up annd my tone got really dry, and they really did a good job with me, even with me getting worked up. I appreciate them.

Stopped here today and was instantly hit with the most horrible smell as soon as I walked in. It smells like something was dead in there. It made my entire visit terrible, I couldn't get past that. I've been to several other reptile stores, they DO NOT smell like that. I've also noticed a few cockroaches in there. ( Not just today, but on my last few visits as well ) and it's not the kind you would feed to any critters, but the kind associated with filth. I was leery to buy anything or touch anything. Definitely did not want to take any hitchhikers home with me.

I put down a deposit on a turtle and after being guaranteed that it would be kept safe and in a private tank until I got to bring him home - they SOLD IT with no remorse like it wasn’t a problem! How do you explain that to your child? …

Took our granddaughter to get her first pet! Samantha was amazingly patient, honest, and informative! Our girl is thrilled with her gift and, thanks to Samantha, we are certain she’ll be able to take good care of her isopods!

Great crews. Like this pet shop. You can ask anything about what they got and some you can ask them to let you hold! That is nice. If you are not buying still welcome to visit the store in off-peak hours.

Employees are knowledgeable and always happy to help. Animals are in good condition, they have everything you need to take care of your reptile or otherwise, and we always have a positive experience here.

Really upset by what I saw today. The juvenile Axolotls had no limbs, front & back legs missing, Yes, limbs can possibly regenerate but it should have not happened in the first place. Axolotls will cannibalize if not fed properly & are territorial. I can only assume poor husbandry, a lack of knowledge, by the owner. Why have an exotic species in your shop you have not bothered to educate yourself about? Also, I saw a guinea with no hay, only pellets. Pellets are NOT a guinea pigs primary source of food. Pellets are a supplement & should only be given 1 tablespoon daily. Timothy hay or Orchardgrass is a guinea pigs' primary source of food & should be available at all times, unlimited. Go to Tractor Supply & buy a 50 lb compressed bale for $25 FFS! Plus, the pig was an adult being sold for $30. I can adopt an adult pig from HSMO for $10. It's a shame, I was so looking forward to supporting a small business but you're not any better than Petco/PetSmart. Animals require time, effort & money but you're just looking to make a profit.

Have been giving them my business for about 4 years now, LOVE this place. Staff is always friendly, helpful, and fairly knowledgeable (depending upon who's working). Dad owns the place (his name slips my memory, but the daughter is there working often. She's great. I just love talking with her. purchased a few reptiles and reptile food and other pet accessories. The other day for a baby squirrel, I rescued and ended up getting EVERYTHING on ( store credit). My husband and I have also sold them different items in exchange for store credit. (Mostly drift wood that my husband preserved for reptiles )They made good on everything they promised me. Had feeder rats die ONCE after a couple of days before they could become food, and they replaced them happily with zero issues. Also, I had purchased a snake that began to look sickly, and I was able to bring it back and get a full refund. The owner is reachable by phone anytime. If you ask, they will gladly give you his number. He also likes to trade nice habitats and enclosures and exotic reptiles for store credit OR cash if you have something he really likes . I just can't say enough good things about this business. Go buy yourself a snake or fish today, guys.

One of the employees was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter usually goes and buys the food for her son's (my grandson's) Bearded Dragon but I went for her and it was my first time at the store.

It's a nice store, and they have quite a bit. But they snakes were not kept in an acceptable manner at all. Lots of snakes in one tank, even adults... A green tree didn't have a place to hang and was quite starved looking, they didn't have any hides whatsoever. They just need to take care of the animals properly and I'd easily give it a 4-5 star rating. I understand resources are limited and things are expensive, but they had easily enough on hand plus more. If I can't trust you to take care of your animals in the most basic of ways, then I don't know I'm getting something that's not gonna die. Also the prices were kinda high

We went in to look at what they had and I was very impressed. The animal enclosures were properly maintained, there was a lot of them to choose from, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place!

On October 4th 2022 I was given the privilege of adopting the most beautiful, sweet baby boy anyone could ever ask for. Beautiful and healthy. I fell in love with him as soon as I saw him. His birthday was August 4th so now he is now just a little over 8 months old. Thank you A.R.C. He has a great family. He even climbs up on me and lays on me for hours.

Upon entering the store we were hit with the most repulsive smell, clearly due to all the unkept, dirty reptile enclosures. Most enclosures were filled with feces and dead feeders (crickets, mealworms, etc). I doubt the reptile turf has ever been cleaned and is filled with bacteria. Plus some of the tanks had live crickets left in them which can bite and harm the reptiles who were sleeping and clearly not feeding at the moment. Several of the reptiles were being housed in tanks that were too small, leaving the animal inside very cramped. Many of the animals also appeared to look very unhealthy. I was told that the bearded dragons were brought in from someone who hadn’t been taking proper care of them, yet they were still selling them at full price despite the missing toenails and calcium deficiency shakes.

A large pet store dedicated to exotics. They have a large selection of snakes and lizards and some other oddities including centipedes and other small bugs.Be warned the place is warm inside and has a smell as you would expect.
