I have been banking with FCCU for 10+ years. I have never had a bad experience with FCCU as a whole and this branch is especially good. The employees are always friendly and provide solutions in a timely manner.

Did you know that First Community Credit Union allows fraudulent charges to a canceled debit card? Yep, that is what is happening to me. The day a pending charge was in my bank account, I told the bank immediately that I didn't approve the $555 charge to my checking account. The charge was from Facebook and I didn't think about removing the card from my Facebook because I canceled the card months before this even happened. Has the bank returned the money back to my account? No. They said that your expired and canceled debit card can still be charged. Was this information ever shared with me when I canceled the card? No. Was I even called about a $555 charge since it is a large amount and I never have purchased over $100 at most on that account? No. I have proven that my account was hacked. I have proven that the charge was fraudulent. I have proven that I did not approve the charge to my account. But still, it has been 9 days since the charge has been taken from my account and they are doing what seems like nothing about it. I have been banking with them for 15+ years, and this is how I'm now treated. This is the first time I have ever disputed a charge. It's not like it is something I frequently do. They said the case will stay open for 90 days and that I needed to start contacting Facebook to help prove the charge was not approved. This is seriously a joke, and I have never been so disappointed!

I love the bank as a whole but this branch sucks. They don’t even speak to you when you pull into the drive up. Customer service is terrible. If you can go to another branch do it.

I have used a few of the local banks, and they're all pretty much the same. They want to take your money and give you half-assed service in return.My daughter joined FCCU a few years ago and encouraged me to do the same. I had gone thru 3-4 bank branches in the area and thought that was the best I could do. But I decided to give FCCU a try. Sooooo glad I did! This credit union has been awesome! They actually take care of any issues you have, with sincere concern. I am more than happy. I would encourage anyone to go with this credit union. The only drawback is that you have a limited number of atm's to use without extra fees. But I've been able to work around that. Ok I'll wrap this up... great place to bank. I will never go anywhere else. Highly recommend this credit union.

Are they malicious or incompetent? I try not to assume the former when the latter is still a possibility. I do, however, believe their system is generally designed to make it as difficult as possible to make a loan payment. Since I initiated my loan I received no communication on how to pay my loan or when the first payment would be due. Once it was late, I did receive notices indicating this which continued to lack a method of resolving this. Once I'd sorted through the tedious and obnoxious process of creating an online log in I could still clearly see where my loan was recorded and behind but absolutely no functionality whatsoever to allow me to pay it on the website. No coupon book, no address to send payments to, no bill, nothing at all. I tried calling, but I was transferred and after 15 minutes of silence disconnected. I was about to call again but then I finally found the option buried in small, small print on the far right of the web page labeled ambiguously as "pay external loans" or something to that effect, which for whatever it sounds to be is actually the option to pay a First Community loan using an external account. So hopefully I'll be able to get the money I do have to whatever routing account it needs to go to in the labrynthian black hole of informative but ultimately useless widget riddled UI they've developed.If frustration is your thing, then by all means this is your lender. If not, pick another institution.

When I moved to Oakville in South County, my new insurance agent, suggested that I do my banking with First Community Credit Union. He told me they were very friendly and easy to work with. He was right!I have taken advantage of several products they offer. If you want big Bank advantages with small TownFriendliness, you will like First Community Credit Union.

Slowest drive thru ever, today. In 2nd lane, depositing 1 lousy check, had the tube in before both cars in lanes 3 & 4. They both waited on and gone. Me, still there.....for 13 minutes! She cured me....I'll go in before I sit on that fu#!$ng line again. I'm almost tempted to change banks....again!!!

They are very friendly, never had a problem and had our money back in our account within 3 day during a hack. Plus the had popcorn and coffee in the lobby before the covid issues.

Poor customer service. Girl in the drive-through just told me no, about doing something that we have been doing there for 8 years. Instead of clarifying why, she just told me to go to a different bank. When I went inside I was able to complete the task, but they acted like they were doing me a favor. Customer service has always been poor, whether we are trying to do a loan (we have completed multiple here), or simply deposit a small check. They have good rates. That is the only reason I still bank here.
