Do not maintain grounds. Company half cuts grass and leaves the bushes, flowers etc to die. Property looks a mess.

Please be careful about renting from this company. They do not know what they are doing at all when it comes to selecting tenants and doing BUSINESS. I first seen the property on Zillow and had requested a tour at 4419 SWAN, STL, MO. Shalanda sent me a message saying that the property was going to be taken off the market that day due to someone APPLYING for an apartment. She really thought this was the ONE. I moved on and continued with my rental search. Almost two weeks later she messages me and asks if I Iām still interested in the place. (Mind you they already invested all this time in the individual applying). I called her two days later and spoke to her on the phone and she said the applicant is in the process of finding a co-signer and trying to obtain the money for the security deposit. I asked why are they spending so much time (12 days) and effort on a potential renter who is clearly financially unstable to move in and passed up other qualified tenants such as my self? I have excellent credit and long term on time rental history. I Just sold my condo earlier this year and temporary renting. She basically used me as a place holder for the applicant and wasted my time. They went ahead and proceeded forward with approving this individual, but they will learn their lesson. Anybody who requires a co-signer has to have one for a reason!

BEWAREāif the property is managed by Front Door do not rent!! My mom lives in a building managed by Front Door and we are looking to get her out asap. There is a water leak in the bedroom that has been there for weeks and all they have tried to do is paint over it. Unbelievable and not to mention a serious health hazard.

The management me here is a joke. No one ever responds. They havenāt opened their pool at my complex in five weeks. They donāt want to offer any solutions. Iāve emailed, called, and texted and each time I am told management is out of the office. If I could give maintenance their own rating I would give them five stars as they are nice and prompt. Management though is terrible. I have told them many times that the people next to me also have too many people in the unit according to the state law and they do nothing. The people next to me fight and scream all the time, there are children in the unit who also scream. Doors are slammed, things are thrown. It also smells terrible outside of their unit in the hallways.

I wish I could give 0 stars. We lived in an apartment in the Grove for 2 years, and dealt with unprofessionalism from staff at FD constantly. Repairs are done cheaply and whenever they feel like it (regardless of severity). Our dryer took 3 cycles to dry our laundry ("nothing they could do"), and there was black mold in our apartment that they painted over to "solve" the problem. We were constantly sick, threatened with physical violence by a FD employee after we asked if he could move his car that was parked in our designated parking spot (that they brushed off when we brought to their attention), and our security deposit was NOT sent within 30 days as they are LEGALLY OBLIGATED TO DO. We had to reach out to them for the deposit 40 days after moving out, and they replied that "they will send it out today". They proceeded to take out $240 for painting walls that had small holes from hanging pictures. We want to be done with them so we've decided to cut our losses, but we left the place cleaner than when we moved in with minimal holes in walls/need for THAT MUCH PAINT. We received inconsistent packages and mail, and their solution was to have everything delivered to the leasing office, which was a drive away. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Beware.

Never sign a contract here. They said they would replace the appliance with a new one, so we signed a contract, but they did not keep their promise. All I'm saying is wait. If I keep waiting like this for the duration of the contract, it looks like the contract will expire.

I leased a studio loft off park ave from 2018-2023. My mom introduced me she stayed in a diff building on the same street through frontdoor. Had the best experience. My 5-6 years living there i had zero issues. building was secured, locked, security cameras on inside and outside of building. never had my car broken into, stolen, never had a issue with maintenance or the leasing office. my neighbors were quiet and kind. i would love the opportunity to move back. the price of the studio was getting a lil heavy so i decided to move. overall i would def go back.

My experience with these guys is limited over the last decade, but when they were starting up in STL I can say every Front Door property was restored and designed tastefully and with respect for the history of the buildings. The kind of work worth doing.

I guess I could've dodged the bullet by reading these google reviews.. but unfortunately I didn't.My main concern was the constant loud noise from my downstairs neighbor, who used a subwoofer speaker. The noise was so intense that it seemed to travel up the walls. Expecting assistance, I approached the staff for mediation. Unfortunately, their response was far from helpful. They were not only passive-aggressive but also dismissive of my complaints. Their remarks like 'the noise wouldn't go up' and 'none of the other units are complaining' were both unprofessional and invalidating, especially considering the shared wall and clear audibility of the noise in my unit. And I never had staff members enter my unit during my lease without my presence for showings to future tenants with other leasing offices. They did not ask for any consent but just sent an email notice. It's ridiculous... I was out of town and worried about what might happen in my unit.I have had experiences with many leasing offices in the past, but this particular instance stands out due to the lack of empathy and effective resolution from the staff. It's disheartening to see such negligence towards genuine tenant concerns. This experience has significantly impacted my stay, and I feel compelled to share it so that potential tenants are aware of these issues before deciding to move in.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!! Would give negative stars if I could. Iām a current resident who has had nothing but bad experience working with everyone at Frontdoor St. Louis, specifically Ben, Kensha, and Austin. They are all very rude and do not provide quality service in the slightest. This is the type of service Iād expect from a leasing company that charged half the rent that these guys do.Most recently, a toxic chemical was left out in my apartment after a maintenance request (I wasnāt home and wasnāt aware these chemical was going to be brought out during the maintenance request) and when I told the leasing office that I was concerned my kitten could have gotten into the substance, they took no responsibility, gave me no apology, hung up on me, called me rude, and then Kensha specifically threatened to illegally cut my lease short and ācall my motherā (exact words). My cat has a seizure disorder, which seemed to magically appear when I moved into this apartment complex.DO NOT LIVE HERE IF YOU VALUE THE LIFE OF YOUR PETS!Management has never heard of the word professionalism and canāt be bothered to respond to justifiably concerned tenants. Live ANYWHERE ELSE!! I promise, Iād rather live in a place with bugs than live in this terrible establishment.Front door St. Louis could not be a WORSE COMPANY to do business with. Donāt waste your time, and tell your friends to stay away!! Trust me!

FRONTDOORSTL POISONED MY CAT and I got a rude response instead of an inch of an apology. Tried contacting Austin the manager 3 times by phone and 4 times by email with no response in the span of months. Kensha the leasing agent is very rude. Leasing agents are incompetent. Everything is broken and you get no response ever. DO NOT LIVE HERE if you value your living space.

I lived at 4236 Manchester Ave lockation and it was a good experience. Stuff members were always friendly and helpful. Any time I needed a maintenance, it was made the next day morning.
