I’ve been going to this Great Clips location for over 20 years and never had a bad experience—until now. I asked Dianne what she recommended trimming for split ends, and she said an inch and a half. That seemed reasonable, especially since I had two inches trimmed last time with no issues.
Instead, she ended up cutting off 6–7 inches. When I expressed concern about how short it was, she said she only cut 3 inches—which was not only inaccurate, but not what we agreed to.
Now my hair is the shortest it’s ever been, and I’m honestly very disappointed. I’ve always trusted this location, but this experience felt careless and frustrating. Clear communication and honesty are essential—especially with something as personal as a haircut.

very rude service, the russian lady did not want to make any adjustments to my haircut. you are providing a service & im paying for what i want. on my head! get this staff in order, laziness is going to be there downfall.

I’ve tried 3 separate times with 3 separate people for a 1 guard low fade and as simple as that may seem not a single one of them seemed to have a clue that a fade is short at the bottom and tapers to the top. It’s called a fade…. lol I’m gonna need yall to go back to school or watch some YouTube videos. Somebody hold some training classes.

Great location. Everyone was having a good time. Smiles all around. Michelle was great!! She chatted me up about Amazing Race and did a great job with my crazy wavy think hair. This is my new goto.

Went in at 9 am right at open. 2 barbers, 3 online reservations, 30 minute wait for a walk in at open. Then, before I could get checked in, 3 more online reservations came in bumping my wait to 45 minutes. Not worth it. I don't understand why I can't walk in and get a hair cut anymore. If demand is this high, hire more people. Garbage

I came back because I was not happy with my Fade, CHELSEA WAS AMAZING! not only she took care of me right away but wow!!! What a glow up, I look like snack Now I am ready for the adventure of a lifetime! Thank you CHELSEA , you are the best

This place was amazing. I went in with my toddler my two-year-old. She is wild and the little redhead like me and my seven month old son who was very fussy because he was hungry. They were so patient with me concerned about my children and they other staff Was so helpful with my other kids while I was getting my hair done. I wish I could remember my stylist name. She reminded me a lot of my mother, but she was the sweetest thing as she did the most perfect haircut on me and I am loving it. I will be returning every time I need a haircut. I wish I could remember her name so she could See this and read it but hopefully she knows exactly who’s writing this and will enjoy the shout out you did amazing thank you so much. You all salon is amazing. I will be returning.

My 14 year old got his hair butchered last week, and it happened to our 18 year old today. We have gone here for 8+ years and never had such a horrible experience - happened twice in 4 days. Both of my boys came out looking like clowns, and are pretty devastated. We learned our lesson, do not get a haircut unless Michelle is available. Time to find a new spot.

I went to the Richmond Center Great Clips... Susie cut my hair...I haven't had a cut since August of last year...I have long hair with layers all over....it had grown out so much it was just limp and hanging there. I love what Susie did. She listened to what I wanted....love my hair now... definitely recommend. Did online check in and was taken right away.

Not at all good , the lady was very rude , please don’t go to this store, I asked her to do very well but she just did cut top of the hairs , she was not at all professional and she was rude with me

I appreciate the online check in and the wait time alert. It would be a good system if the staff would attempt to adhere to it. After receiving the message to head to the salon as my estimated wait time was 7 minutes, I did so and checked in with approximately 4 minutes to spare. At zero minutes I was the first on the list. I then waited an additional 15-20 minutes with no acknowledgement or eye contact from the staff who seemed to be cleaning, chatting, or taking a break, whatever. At that point, I got the attention of one of the staff and requested that he remove me from the wait list. I did not stay for the haircut I had been planning on. I won’t be going back to this Great Clips salon.
