We were traveling through St. Louis on vacation with our RV towing our Jeep when our Jeep blew an axle seal and destroyed the bearing. We stopped at Hillco Auto & Truck Repair to ask for help. Stan and Jim were empathetic with our situation and took the Jeep in immediately to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately, due to the damage from the imploded bearing and the Jeep’s modifications (lift, long arms…) they did not feel that they had the resources to assist us. They made several phone calls to try to find assistance and when we found someone who could help, Hillco arranged for the Jeep to be towed. They refused to bill us for the time spent diagnosing and helping us. They just wished us well on our trip. This is the type of shop we all want to do business with. Thank you Stan, Jim and Hillco Auto & Truck.

Brought in two 4WD vehicles on separate occasions after local dealer and quick service shop couldn't figure out problems. Stan kept me informed with calls throughout the time there, quickly letting me know problem and cost. Both vehicles were in the shop for roughly 24 hours, this after waiting weeks for appointment at dealership with no results. Both vehicles were fixed at a cost under anticipation. It's a bit further drive for me but well worth the distance for great service.

If I could rate higher I would. Brought two 4WD vehicles in on separate occasions after multiple trips to local dealership couldn’t locate or fix problem with 4WD system knocking and whining. I was able to get an immediate appointment. Stan provided constant updates upon diagnosis with cost and timing to complete. Each vehicle was repaired in 24 hours and at a price under what was anticipated. Stan was great to work with. A bit of a drive for me but worth it. Won’t go anywhere else.

I was referred to Hillco by Wicke Auto for my truck. The rear end needed to be replaced. I gave Stan at Hillco a call and he got right back to me with a worst case scenario quote. I took it in and they were fast and accurate in their diagnosis of the specific problem. The total was tallied up and was under the figure quoted on the phone. All in all I would not hesitate to take any of my vehicles there.

I have gone to them for years for maintenance on my car. They do very good work on vehicles and are trustworthy in the care of my car. We always recommend them to anyone needing service on their car.
