You better know where to find What You Need. Because if not, it takes forever to get help.

Come to this location if you enjoy heavy equipment blocking access to product and rude cashiers. Or if you need a good parking lot to photo shoot for your dystopian cosplay.

Went to Customer Service to get a package. The line was out the door. I stood there for about 5 min then left. What's wrong with these stores? Don't they have enough help? Walmart was like that too.

This is a terrible stores. I had my box truck there today and of course while we were in side Shopping someone did a hit and run and they would not let us see the footage until a police report was filed. Come on, we live in Saint Louis city and we could spend the entire day waiting for the police to show up for a minor hit and run. We just wanted to see if we could see the plate number and if we would and could also see the hit clearly then we would wait all day to file a report. Give me a break! Like a security person couldn’t review the recording and just tell me if the hit was clearly recorded! I will never go to this place again and I am filling a complaint to corporate. This location is a constant mess with unhelpful staff. Don’t shop here!

I came to this Home Depot store on Sunday morning around 9:30 so I wasn’t expecting it to be very busy. There were at least 4 employees in the customer service area, but for some reason only 1 person was checking people out. The line of customers waiting to check out was 8+ people long with multiple customers wanting to purchase bulk materials. I understand getting rid of the self check out, but this means that there needs to be enough workers to make sure customers aren’t waiting 20+ minutes in line to check out. I actually asked one employee walking by to see if there was a way for him or another employee to help with the check out and he said he was not able to do that and that the store manager (who was the 1 person checking people out) was the person to talk to. Without trying to interrupt the store manager who was checking a customer out, I asked if she could call for back up in the check out area. She responded rather shortly by saying that she had called for someone, but no one had come up yet. Maybe an employee would have come to help eventually, but I wasn’t going to wait around to find out, so I left without purchasing what I came for. I would like to note that the original employee who I asked for assistance was just meandering around the check out area and from my point of view did not have a particular task that he was trying to accomplish. I can’t remember a time I have come to this Home Depot location and the customer service exceeded or even met my expectations.

When someone is training Home Depot should put a training sign up so those of us in a rush can avoid the training lane to get back to our worksite. Nice lady though.

Wow can the young ladies that work here get off their phones and provide good customer service.

Unfortunately in SOME Home Depot locations they employ cashier staff that attend to their personal cell phones more than their job responsibilities or friendliness to their customers

Not the best selection of tools I've seen, compared to other home depots. Customer service and wait times in line leave much to be desired. My least favorite home depot but sadly the closest one to me.

Yesterday I went to the Home Depot on Kings Highway. When I got to the register I asked the young lady there if her register was open and she ignored me. Naturally, I became frustrated and asked to talk to her manger. After a long wait, the manger finally appeared and she seemed annoyed that I said anything to her at all. Her and her other employee were condescending and dismissive. In the last few years I’ve spent easily $50,000.00 in this store. This isn’t the first time I’ve had very bad customer service. 20 years ago you could make a phone call and find the district manager for the region, and you could set things settled pretty quickly. Now, this kind of thing happens all the time. I wasn’t sure how places like this can stay in business treating the customers in such a way, but then I remember overhearing a staff meeting from last week where a manger was telling the rest of his staff the earnings for the past day and week. He said they made more than $50,000.00 the day before, so I could see why they wouldn’t care about my little $50 purchase. Lowes is a little further from where my construction projects are, but I’m going to go there now instead.

Home Depot is getting hard to shop in. The isles are always cluttered with displays stacks of wood, and there is absolutely no one help unless you go searching all through the store.
