I will never stay at this place again. First, we were given a room that had not be cleaned and had messy beds and towels thrown around. It was also not what I ordered. We got a new room, which was what I paid for...2 sinks and a city view. Being given a dirty room was a first for me!
Then, we had to pay $50 per day for Valet Service because the parking lot was full (would have had to pay for that as well, but not as much). We were not allowed to use a cart to load and unload our belongings, but had to use Bell Hops. By being forced to use valet service and Bell Hops we always had to wait. We really wanted to park on our own and be able to use a cart for our belongings, like we have always been able to do at other hotels along our trip, past and present.
Valet service and using Bell Hops should be optional.

Place is right in the center of everything downtown. Service was great from hotel staff except the Starbucks, cashier doesn't really understand English so she messed up my wife order twice during our stay. Other than that our stay was great. Beautiful city.
Rooms: Rooms were clean, didn't have any issues.
Walkability: Hotel is around alot of places you can walk to, so that was very convenient for us.
Food and drinks: They have options for food and drinks. Sportsbar and a Ruth's Chris downstairs plus a shop just in case you want to get souvenirs.

It's a huge hotel. Kinda feels isolated when walking to the room. They charge extra for parking. For how much they charge the rooms were not as clean. Didn't even have a water bottle in the room

Great view and a walk to the arch. A lot of food options on site and within walking distance.
Rooms: Big room. A lot of mirrors. You can hear the interstate from the room. Not too loud though.
Nearby activities: Across the street from the arch.

We stayed here for the downtown location. Booked a junior double suite. Valet parking was easy check in was quick. Lobby was ok nothing to fancy a little dated. We were given a room on the 6th floor. Once we got to the room we found it to be awful. The curtains were stained and had what looked to be some sort of mold on them growing. There were stains on the wall. The tub was peeling. The headboard was awful. We called the front desk they sent someone up to look he agreed that we needed a different room. They moved us to the 11th floor with a single bed suite so that put our daughter on a pull out. This room was cleaner but I would only give it 1 star on the sheets and pillows. Overall would recommend staying somewhere else if visiting downtown St Louis
Rooms: 1st room was dirty and needed to be repaired and soft goods replaced

Great location to the Arch. A little older, but still nice overall. Tub was peeling a little, and only one side of the elevators was working on my floor.
Be warned though: if you plan to have a package held at the hotel be aware that they do not tell you about the charge to pick it up. I had asked about any charges beforehand, and they said there wasn’t any. Went to pick up my package at the FedEx onsite location and found out they charge a fee by the weight. I was not happy about the lack of transparency especially because I specifically asked about it.

Stayed at this Hotel with my family! We booked it for the location. The room was nice but smaller than I expected. The view from our window was beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like was the construction that was going on during time that we stayed there it was little disturbing and the indoor pool was closed which we didn’t like.

I would give 1000/10 stars if I could. Last weekend was one of the best weekends I have ever had thanks to my experience at The Hyatt. This is truly an upscale, friendly, and welcoming environment. The room was spotless and the bed was like laying on a cloud. Had a direct view of the Arch from my window as well. Room service was always super quick. When ordering food it only took about 10-15 minutes each time. They came and cleaned the room in the morning after my first night. Valet is super sweet and respectful. They open your doors and help with your bags, etc. Food was amazing as well. Perfect location downtown walking distance from the Arch. Super affordable room prices as well. Overall, I had an amazing experience and I will most definitely be back!

The hotel itself was fine and a pretty standard hotel room. The biggest concern that we had was that we paid to park our car in the Hyatt garage under the hotel when we checked in at the desk and the garage was completely overbooked. We were forced to double park the car alongside dozens of other vehicles and then wake up early in the morning to move the car. Not an ideal task on vacation after paying nearly $50 to park. The staff at the front desk was completely unhelpful and did not refund us our money. Corporate eventually refunded the money. We were sold a parking spot in that garage and were not given one. Staff had no idea what was going on and no way of communicating with garage attendants about how many spots were available for the night. They had no plans to fix or improve this system. The hotel location is great just come with a parking plan that is not staying there.

I attended the Reclaiming Vacant Properties and the Hyatt - St. Louis Arch was the host hotel. The ambiance of the hotel was perfect for the conference as the hotel has the ideal setup with the multiple ballrooms that couple as ideal breakout rooms.
Upon arriving, the check-in process was smooth. Though the line was wrapped around to the door, the staff was friendly, efficient, and professional. Once I was at the desk I was checked in and off to my room in about 3 minutes.
Arriving at my floor, the floor was a maze at first, however the signage was perfect and placed in the ideal spots to guide me to my room. Heading to my door I encountered the housekeeping team and they were very pleasant. They welcomed me to St. Louis as well as to the Hyatt - St. Louis Arch. They truly understand the standard of good customer service.
Walking into my room, the blinds were open which caused me to be taken by the gorgeous visual of the Arch. The room was spacious and very modern. Beautiful furniture and a great use of square footage. As I began to settle, I noticed that my headboard was peeling. It was a leather type headboard but the paint layer was chipped and looked horrible. It was hidden by the placement of the pillows. Whoever cleaned room 716 really knew how to hide the eyesore. As I was heading to the first session there was no need to complain and try to move rooms. However, the visual aesthetic of the room was thrown off entirely. During one of my FaceTime calls my friend was taken aback by the eye sore and couldn’t believe they would just leave it like that. I told her as long as it didn’t start moving, I was fine.
Arriving on the 4th floor for the conference itself, the space is huge. Great open design on the outer exterior with the ballrooms grouped together in the middle. This made navigation easy and allowed for the floor Niy to feel crowded.
Once day 1 was complete, I stopped by the retail store on site to grab a few snacks then headed to Brewhouse which is also on site for dinner. The hotel truly is set up so you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to, which at this point I didn’t. LoL.
Winding down for the night, as I prepared to shower I noticed the abundance of peeling paint in the bathroom. At this point, Room 716 is the peel room. First my headboard and now the tub. Can you say over it? In any case, I was not in the mood for a room change so the peeling room it would be for the next two days.
On day 2 I was able to experience the on-site gym. They have state of the art equipment which can pair with your phone to track and guide your workouts. The gym space is huge so you aren’t crowded and they even offer cool towels. Love the added touch.
Overall my stay at the Hyatt - St. Louis Arch was pleasant. Minus the visual aspects, the service, cleanliness, and ambiance was amazing.
If in the area and wanting a great view with great service, check out the Hyatt - St. Louis Arch. Just make sure to check your headboard and tub for peeling.

The rooms were very dirty with low quality bedding, mattress, and furniture. The sheets feel like the cheapest synthetic available.
I was also traveling with my boyfriend. The front desk clerk tried to insist we take a room with two separate beds.
We both travel often for work. This particular location is not one we will return to.

We booked this hotel for the location as we were looking to be tourists. Upon arrival service was very good. Tayla was very friendly and helpful. She let me know I had been upgraded to an arch view room which was nice. The room was spacious which we appreciated. The beds were comfortable but much of the headboard material was rubbed off which doesn’t look good. The bathroom could’ve been cleaner and the tub was peeling bad. We appreciated the bellhop service as we had a lot of luggage which is hard to deal with when also dealing with toddlers. The hotel is literally at the base of the arch museum and walkable to many eateries. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would visit again

We had a delightful stay at the Hyatt next to the Arch in St. Louis on October 12-13, 2024. The location was perfect for walking to local sites like the Arch, Busch Stadium, City Park, and more. And we also took advantage of the on-site sports bar and Starbucks. We also had an amazing view of the arch. Now for the negative - the bed was horrible. We were so incredibly sore the next morning. We also couldn’t figure out how to change the temperature in our room - we were freezing. All told, it was a very good hotel with lots of amenities and the location was amazing. The staff was also courteous and helpful. Would stay again but please get some better mattresses!
Rooms: Nice and comfortable rooms but the mattress needs to be changed or flipped.
Nearby activities: The Arch, LaClede’s Landing, Ballpark Village, Busch Stadium, City Park, Capitol building

Rooms: Arch view room was spot on
Walkability: Right outside of “Arch”
Food and drinks: Restaurant in the hotel was quiet, sports bar feel. Service was average food taste was below average. They did not instill confidence with the level of Gluten Free options, or safety
