I will never go to this location again. I didn't mind that some of the shelves were bare. What bothered and angered me was the fact that my 13 year old daughter and I experienced reverse racism. He was calling white people rapists and went on to dog white women for not having big butt's and that we're ugly. That only black people built this country and that white people are destroying it. Next, he went on to say that transgenders were disgusting and that there were only two genders.( We all know what that means. ) I was so disgusting that we put our groceries down and left. No one said anything to this man, and the woman behind him in line agreed with him. Both knowing that we were directly behind them. I am not a racist. I have a black daughter. I have never experienced reverse racism in the city before. I was in shock, and my daughter was scared. I believe that Trump has brought out this type of behavior, but you can't get mad at every white person because the orange idiot is in office. Not all of us are Trump Humpers and racists. Most white people in the city aren't. I'm afraid it's only going to get worse from both sides. Especially if this type of thinking continues.

They won't check item availability over the phone, and I have almost never seen more than one check-out line open regardless of how long the line is. Otherwise, I guess the store is okay. It's relatively clean, and they seem to have quite a variety of food and food-related items. Another reason I'm giving this place more than one star is because there actually was someone at the store who tried to find an item for me when I was there.

Check the expiration dates on everything you buy. They had cottage cheese dated 11/20/24 when I was there 12/14/24. Eww! Otherwise a good place for quick shopping.

Last two weeks, I heard rumor RULERS GROCERY (been trying to attract workers and )wondering why no one would show up-
...Not that bad.
I'm a Trucker looking for something else to do, and we dislike getting the wrong address- which had me walking around a school like a creepy perv.
Then, I was told to apply online. Guess they don't feel relying on technology has hurt yet.

I recently had a terrible experience at Ruler Foods that I feel compelled to share. On Saturday, June 22, around 6 PM, I visited the store with two separate Instacart orders. I politely asked the cashier, Chyanne, to separate them. She flatly refused and rudely told me I should have used two carts. When I suggested using one of the empty carts by the closed register, she claimed it was against policy and refused to help further.
Despite requesting to speak with a manager three times, Chyanne dismissively told me I could leave the store if I wasn’t satisfied. Eventually, a manager did assist me, but by then, there were over 20 people waiting to check out, all visibly frustrated.
To make matters worse, throughout the entire ordeal, I could hear Chyanne making fun of me and talking about me to other guests. This added an unnecessary layer of humiliation to an already stressful situation.
Chyanne's behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. What should have been a simple fix turned into a major inconvenience for me and other customers. Ruler Foods seriously needs to address such conduct to ensure a respectful and efficient shopping environment. I would not recommend this store based on my experience.

Update. This place has fallen apart the last three times I went there have to shelves were empty this time I went there same thing they were out of a lot of things that I needed and when I did get to the counter to pay I still had a whole shopping cart full they had no sacks no bags no nothing what am I going to do carry every little item out to my car unbelievable I left the whole bag there and walked out and went to Aldi's this place used to be great but it is went downhill they might as well just lock the doors either get the shelves stopped for God's sakes have shopping bags so we can take the groceries home. Wow great prices on everything. I love the Kroger private label. Most of the staff is friendly and they keep the checkout lanes moving fast. Great job. New manager is fantastic.
Update. I've been there 4 time in the past two weeks and the store is practically empty. No White bread at all. They are not getting the shelves restocked. Another new manager not doing so well. I'm very disappointed. I had to go to Schnucks. Schnucks was great.
Ruler Food had better keep the shelves stocked because we have other places we can go look at them shelves the whole stores like this.

When this place isn’t contributing to the horrible food desert that is east tower grove with their sparse and often rotten produce; they’re actively ensuring the worst experience possible by hiring one cashier for check out at 5 pm.
Constant line. Terrible food. Can’t wait for target to take em out
