Hands down, these people are THE best! I had been searching for a vet and, after much research, I discovered this wonderful team and I couldn't be more pleased. The staff treated Murphy like he was one of their own, putting him at ease immediately. The techs were professional, courteous and caring; he didn't even seem to mind getting a shot! It's rare to encounter such good customer service, excellent bedside manner and competitive prices all in one place. Thank you to Ashley and the rest of the staff for making our experience such a pleasure!

The vets are very good here, but the front office staff is not. I've had a couple issues with wait times/overbooking in the past year. This year, an unnecessary blood test was performed on my pet which the clinic later reimbursed /credited my account blaming it in a miscommunication. Once again the vets are very good here, but they've got a long way to go in the front office and the staff/administrative side needs an overhaul. I've decided to move on to a different veterinary clinic.

Yesterday this place lost 3 long time patrons(pets) due to overbooking and also arguing that my dogs ear infection wasn't due to the meds he was given which caused it the last time it was prescribed. My appt was at 4:30 for a glands expression $45 and to have his ear checked out which was almost black with infection. The rude technician that works there was very short with me and rude when she came out to get my dog and said well his ear is going to take way longer since we are technicians and can't handle that. I could tell she loved telling me this seeing if it would get my dander up. I just told her I don't care now how long it takes because his ear is so bad and I'm done with this place. You guys overbooked yourselves as usual. The older male vet came out which I always loved and poor guy looked so disheveled . He told me he wants to put my dog on antibiotics !!! Seriously?? That's what happened in the first place which he said wasn't the cause ( my dogs never had an ear infection in 11 yrs and it's happened 2x on this medicine) so he gave me an ointment instead with no instructions. I left really disappointed. Why these docs want to work like this is beyond me. I noticed also one of the vets stood outside for a long time talking to a lady about leashes . I'm sure she needed a break . The rude technician came out with my records and felt very proud to let me know they were fine with me leaving the facility . Whatever , I don't need this kind of service . So if you want to stand around a factory and have a ton of people come and go in front of you with no appts have at it.

My cat got hurt late the night before, I called in as soon as they opened to see if they could get us in the next morning, I was in as a new patient within hours. The front desk, technician and doctor were all amazing and took care of my baby. 10/10 happy cat mom.

Very disappointing after being a client for over 10 years that I cant make two payments to get my beloved senior pug's cremation back that I adopted and had for 15 months. ($90) Payment in full to release ashes. Im an essential worker putting my health on the line during the pandemic and distraught over losing my beloved pet. In the past this was allowed but NO more! The ONLY reason I continue to go to Watson is because of Dr Jay King....If he wasn't there on Saturdays, I would NO longer give you my business....Thank you Dr King for ALL that you do! in regards to Pepper's ashes Ohana means family... NO ONE GETS LEFT BEHIND OR FORGOTTEN! THANK YOU DR KING FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK AND EVERYTHING YOU DO! YOU TRULY PRACTICE WITH YOUR HEART AND SHOW COMPASSION! Other Vets need to truly learn your ethics!!

I was referred to Watson Road by my daughter when we moved here from Lees Summit. Dr. McCartney is awesome, he’s very thorough and listens to any concerns I have. He’s patient with Bella who hates going to the Vet, she has to wait in the car with me till they are ready for her. I trust Dr. McCartney, he’s the best!!

I don't have enough words to express how much I appreciate Dr. Zeis and the entire staff at Watson Road Veterinary Clinic. My Yorkie (sister) Reese's went there regularly and they took such great care of her each time. My family had Reese's for almost 15 years. She recently crossed the rainbow bridge due to late stage of Renal Failure. It sucks this happened during COVID but the staff made this transition very comfortable. When Reese's passed away they sent us a card and her paw print through the mail. Dr. Zeis and staff, my family appreciates you.

Dr. Klepzig and staff are fantastic! You can tell they truly love and care about the animals they see. They treat the animals and their owners as if they are friends, not just patients. And their pricing can’t be beat!
