“I am not easy to please to begin with, and the complete gut remodel of our kitchen has been a comedy of errors by every contractor who has walked through our door. Despite all of that, I have nothing but good things to say about Graniterra overall and about Kevin and Alecia in particular. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants stone in their home.

When our countertops were templated, there was a mistake made, which of course can happen to anyone. This mistake resulted in the cooktop not being centered under our exhaust hood and the sink not being centered in front of the window the way we believed they should be. In addition, I had not realized that there could be bits of iron ore in the stone, and before it was installed my husband and I had missed the small amount of red in the only section of countertop that didn't need to be replaced due to off-center cuts. The stone is mostly soft white and powdery blue, and my cabinets are dark blue with a grey and alabaster checkerboard pattern marble tile floor. Red is a beautiful color, but it has no place in my kitchen.

It was mainly Kevin who had to deal with me, and he could not have been more understanding. They replaced the sink and cooktop sections without hesitation. Kevin realized how upset I was about the little bits of red in the other section of the countertop and when we were selecting new slabs, he offered to also replace that section as well. Since the red getting in was partially my fault, they replaced that section for cost, which was a much better offer than I thought I would receive. I was more than pleased, and removing the red made a world of difference, both in the look of the kitchen and in my mood.

They installed the new stone countertops and full-height backsplashes and they are STUNNING. I would love to post photos of the completed kitchen, of which these countertops and backsplashes are the stars; however, when our GC came to finish the project, there was an accident involving a guy and a ladder, and one of the sections of stone was cracked all the way through. I had the GC contact Kevin immediately and I have to say, he's also an excellent advocate for his customers. Kevin explained to them (after I had said the same thing but was apparently ignored) that it is not possible to replace just the broken section, as it would not match the undamaged sections. So, he was absolutely instrumental in my getting what I want and what I paid for - brand new, perfectly matched, stone countertops with full-height backsplashes, with no red iron ore anywhere to be seen.

Because of the damage caused by the ladder incident, most of the stone in these photos will soon be removed and replaced - by Graniterra, because I will accept no other. I am very confident that the job will be completed quickly and correctly and will look as good or better than before. It is incredibly comforting to know that, in the unlikely event of another mistake being made, this company stands behind their work and follows through with the promises they make. How very refreshing to find a company that truly wants their customers to be satisfied and happy.

She let us sample a variety of olive oils and balsamics (with different flavors and countries of origin). Overall, good products that we've used in several recipes, better than grocery store brands.”

“Signature Kitchen & Bath (Rock Hill) just finished a bathtub/shower conversion to a walk-in shower and I could not be happier with how it looks and functions. From the start of the project, Chelsey (Designer) and Natalie (Project Manager) were great with communication and answering all of my questions from start to finish; taking the time to provide detailed responses that did not make me feel ridiculous for asking. Luke, Luis, and Devon did the majority of the demo and build (with the exception of the new glass door fabrication and installation) and I was impressed with their work. The team showed up early each day so they could start promptly at the time communicated to me. When something didn't look right to them they worked to make it look better without me ever having to ask; showing me that they cared about the work being done. They were great with keeping the house as clean as possible during the project to minimize cleanup afterwards which was appreciated. I also have a pet and they were patient and mindful of him while working. The duration of my project was approximately three months from signing of the contract through final inspection; with the majority of actual demo and building lasting approximately two weeks in that period (waiting for materials was the bulk of the lead time). This was aligned with the timing initially estimated which was great. SKB took care of all of the permitting and inspections which saved so much hassle for me, especially in STL city where the process is antiquated and in need of improvement. I appreciate that they took on my project despite the fact that it was smaller in total work. A bathroom remodel (on whatever scale) is a major decision to make and I have been pleased with my choice. SKB was not the lowest bid I received but I have zero regrets with going with them for all of the work and value I've received, so far, and with additional guarantees and warranties (for product and services). I was upfront with my target budget and Chelsey did well to help guide and inform decisions to make that work. If anything comes up in the future that needs to be addressed, I have confidence that they would work to make it right. Highly recommend giving Signature Kitchen & Bath a try for your project.”
