“I agree with the guy below-- everyone in St. Louis should know about Mwanzi, the gateway city's very own Green Building Supplier. As I am buying an older house, I've been exploring my options for renovations. Ideally, most of the work I do will be done with sustainable materials. Even at Lowe's, Home Depot and Lumber Liquidators, sustainable materials still carry a relatively hefty price tag, and for what? Some of the stuff is questionably sustainable, or less sustainable than another brand. After having my cabinets quoted, countertops quoted and floors quoted, I am confident that Mwanzi can give any of those discount suppliers a run for their money when it comes to sustainable materials. You can rest assured at that every bit of lumber is either reclaimed or Forest Stewardship Council certified. One of the neatest things that they do is to claim local, fallen timber from North St. Louis and have it milled into lumber for their very own cabinet line, "Greenhaus Cabinets". These cabinets are made right here in St. Louis of a number of different woods and appear to be made with the finest hardware and craftsmanship. I will be saving all I can to afford my Greenhaus Cabinets, but I will be incredibly glad that I did. The sheer variety of sustainable countertops and flooring offered at Mwanzi is nearly staggering. For countertops they have Cambria, Caesarstone, Bamboo Butcher block, Squak Mtn. Stone, Richlite and Paperstone. There are many many more options for flooring. I look forward to working with them on every home project I am able to afford. I highly recommend making an appointment to see their showroom (yes, the showroom is by appointment only). It is worth the trip!”

“Cabinet Distributors is a great company to work with! Patrick was very helpful and involved throughout the entire process of picking cabinets, ordering, delivering, and quality assurance.Side note however, we went with Wolf Cabinets and I would not recommend that specific manufacturer as many of the cabinet doors had chipped paint at the intersection of the doors. We had to request replacement doors many times over, as some of the replacements were even worse and had to be replaced as well. Some of the better-looking doors we received are also starting to chip 6 months later. If Wolf can fix their manufacturing process and quality control, they can be a legitimate option having cabinets with extra features for a decent price, but I wouldn’t recommend them with the experience we had.Use Cabinet Distributors, but not Wolf Cabinets.”

“A few years ago, we refreshed our kitchen with new countertops, appliances, sink, backsplash and cabinets. I noticed that the granite piece behind the stove had started to “sink” compromising the backsplash tile. Graniterra came out, moved the stove out, repaired the issue, repaired the grouting and backsplash, and cleaned up afterwards. They did a great job and it looks brand spanking new. Best part it was covered by their lifetime warranty. I had used this company (different name), in 2000 for a previous kitchen remodel, and I was pleased with their work then too. Can’t say enough good things about them!!”

Before confirming shipping, Melissa sent me images of the fridge I had purchased and called me to see if I would like to proceed. There was some cosmetic damage which is common for an item with this big of a discount. I was hesitant to continue but Melissa took it upon herself to find me the exact same model that was in new condition. Rather than charge me the difference in price, Melissa and her GM gave me the fridge in better condition for the same initial price. As somebody furnishing their first home this was extremely helpful and I am grateful for the great customer service. 10/10 would definitely recommend!”

“I am thrilled with my new tub/shower replacement. Our walls had tile that allows produced mold. It soooo nice that its all brand new and I love taking a bath in the new tub. I didnt realize that the new tub didnt have an incline for bathing making it uncomfortable but I resolved that with getting a bath pillow. There was an issue with the plumbing, a maintenance crew came out the next day an easily repaired it. The work crew was very polite and friendly, their working banter was nice. I could tell that they all really respected each other and valued others skills. Happy employees do good work.”
