Horrible experience! We’ve been traveling North to South-West to East. Stopping at Loves when there is one.Wow! This one had a woman standing in the way to pull up by the pump.Moved a bit but then was right by the passenger side. I wasn’t sure I wanted to get out.My husband got out to pump gas.I got out and walked in we to him stating I was uncomfortable and why.He asked if I locked the truck and here the gal comes around the truck by him asking for money. He gave her a dollar and she complained.I went into the store. He moved the truck near the store and went in.I mentioned to security inside about the gal outside.I proceeded to the restrooms. Yikes!!! One was full to the top with poop. The next toilet was filled to the top with bloody papers.Never will stop there again.Gross and felt unsafe!!!!

Avoid this Loves like the plague and go to the one in Bridgton unless you want to get panhandled, robbed, or shot. Did Loves really think it would be a good idea to put one of their locations in north city, St. Louis, one of the most dangerous areas in the country?

Went in for assistance on laundry services and worker was rude. Then my boyfriend who is an OTR truck driver asked if there were showers, and a female worker replied no. We have hoses. We have been across the US and this has to be the rudest and filthiest place we have ever been to.

Its the Ghetto...McDonald's lol..I had to just walk away. I'm not repeating myself over and over to someone that isn't even taping the pretty buttons on the screen to put my order in. Sausage egg and cheese mcgriddle with a hash brown sub the folded egg for a round one. After the second time I was told so you want a #4... I walked away...

I am a reginal Driver, and A Vietnam Veteran with a physical disability. I just want to say that Loves Travel stops have no Handicap Parking. None of their facilities are Handicap Parking friendly. When you try to park close, because you can't walks good as others your forced to move or the police are called. I have to go to Loves because of the agreement between Loves and my company, but Loves needs to better Accommodate the Handicap CDL Driver.

This location is pure garbage. Tons of rabid homeless people. I was harassed by a homeless man smoking a cigarette at my door near a pump and then later after I went inside found him stalking around my truck. I notified the “security guard and a staff member inside to which it was very obvious that they were being put out by being told this. In fact the attitude from the security guard was despicable it was clear that she did not want to help me in any way. She spoke very clearly to others when I was inside prior but had a very obvious issue interacting with me. I will be saving this location as a place to never go ever again it is dangerous and the staff is disrespectful. Pathetic.

Midnight shift, Customers are 2nd to their phones. Store needed upkeep, cleaning, organization but cashier and security were too busy on their phones. I waited 6 minutes to pay for a cup of coffee, even had cashier, change positions and stretch before acknowledging me. Yeah, I'm old school but on the clock means phones away. Loves is paying you to work.

Disrespect me about my missing kid and told me to call police which isn't there job. I asked if the people who I know took her what they look like because he's my ex. Blonde hair is one and black hair is the other.

Loves closed at the moment due to lack of electricity because of storm. Places like this should have generators for just such occasions. It's not like they can't afford it.

Dirty, scary inner-city place. Armed security guard at night. A new face every night begging for money. Staff knows about them and doesn't care.Bad design- hard to access and exit with a truck.Dirty fuel bays, worn out pumps full trash cans.Fuel and coffee only for me.Ghost staff are hard to find.85/100 open at night. Staff is present but will not let customers in.

The only one I've seen with a gate at night. No food in the deli section empty shelf. Completely empty. Nice staff great people. The whole gas pump area is blocked off . Didn't know it was a bad neighborhood. Nice staff and McDonald's was on point but empty shelves. Also am employee said lock your doors sleeping in the parking lot don't answer if some one knocks. It's the real deal out here in st louis mo. Never have seen a loves in this condition. Waking up at 6 am and getting out of here lol

Spent a weekend laid-over in St Louis - couldn't deliver until Monday morning. Got to know all the staff that worked over the weekend. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and considerate. Yes, it's in the hood but I felt safe throughout my stay. Showers were low pressure but clean, roomie, and both showers I used had handicapped rails and large sitting area.

Very poorly lit, no security. Kept getting harassed by vagrants asking for money. Wouldn't leave me alone even after I fell asleep and it started raining. The fence around the property had holes and it were they we're coming in and out. I have been to better gas stations in Detroit than this place. This truck stop does not deserve the Love's name.

i drive an SUV & i planned to car camp for 2 nights while visiting STL so i pulled in around 9:15pm to see that there are sliding gates that will not open & cannot be accessed because the "area is restricted". i called to ask them about it and they said they close the gates at 9pm?? & they don't open back up until 6am?? SUPER impractical! said it's for "safety" which like ok, sure... but that defeats the whole purpose of a truck stop & overnight parking... if you're a semi/big rig/18 wheeler, you're still able to park in the back but "normal" vehicles: this is your psa!!! be aware!!! don't stop here after 9pm or before 6am *eye roll*
